“No, it’s not your fault. I’m confused and worried. I’m worried that he may have done something to you.” Lilis answered him, bowing her head. “We will see though. Would you like me to take you back to your room now?”

Foxtrot stood up and his legs were a bit wobbly. He tried to gain balance, but instead of standing straight, he fell to his hands and knees, too tired to even stand. "Ooh... I don't feel so good." He turned away to face away from Lilis and vomited. It was disgusting as he had thought. The taste was awful and he didn't really mean to throw up.
When he stopped vomiting, he sat back on his knees and felt his stomach. The pressure was gone and he felt a little better, but still really tired. "I'm thirsty..." He then said, oddly than being tired. He seemed to be more thirsty than tired. He craved for something to drink, but he didn't know what.

Lilis’ lips pressed into a hard thin line. Kara didn’t like the look on her face. It was calculating and concerned. Either she was confused about Foxtrot’s behavior or she knew and was worried about it. Which ever it was, Kara was getting worried.
“I’ll help you walk Foxtrot.” Lilis said, pulling him to his feet and looping an arm behind his back, around his shoulders. “I’ll get you something to drink when we get you to your room.”

Foxtrot walked slowly and steadly. He didn't know what to say. He then finally said, "Is it bad? The bite? Did it heal on it's own?" He looked up at her with curious and worried eyes.

"I do not know how bad it is Foxtrot. But the bite was beginning to heal itself." She told him honestly, since she really didn't want to lie to him. "It may be nothing Foxtrot. You may just be coming into some new powers. A lot of people find out that they can heal, blow up, or just plain destroy something as they reach adolescence."

Foxtrot began to worry. He didn't know if he was going to be a vampire or not, because he began to heal slowly. And another thing seemed to bug him is that he has been gaining strength to walk on his own. He began to walk more properly and more in a straight line. Like he wasn't even tired at all. He didn't know what to do or say. He just continued to walk towards the castle, hoping that it was just going to be alright and he will stay normally.

Lilis glanced at Foxtrot and ruffled his hair. She smiled at him. "Try not to worry Foxtrot. It could really be nothing." She told him again and Kara rubbed against his jawline. ~ It does not matter if you change or not Foxtrot. You still have friends that will look after you and love you no matter what happens. That is what friends do. And I will be here to support you. ~

Foxtrot smiled and reached his hand up to rub Kara's head. He then looked at Lilis and said, "Thanks. I hope it's nothing. I'm glad you would support me you guys." He noticed they were already getting closer to the castle. He sighed with releif, glad for being bitten was all over.

"Kara'd bite me repeatedly if I didn't and there's no doubt that Zuki would be very displeased with me if I didn't." Lilis looked at Foxtrot, a soft sparkle in her eyes and a small smile twisting her lips. "Besides, I like you and it's nice to be around kids again."

Foxtrot giggled and turned around and hugged her. He then had his energy back, that he could run, but he didn't. He turned and walked quickly to his room. "I'm glad I met you guys! And tonight, I'm going to duel him again. Do you wanna watch? I've been training all day, trying to figure out some new moves." He smiled happily to show he was ready to do anything again. He didn't know where all the energy came from. He didn't care.

Lilis continued smiling. "I think I'll hold Kara. She likes to help and sometimes when it's not needed." She said and uncoiled the red cobra from around Foxtrot's neck.
~ What? It was the perfect shot! Right in the eyes! And you were getting bored anyhow. ~
"Whatever. We'll watch though." Lilis made Kara look at her. "And only watch."

Foxtrot giggled and saw Zuki, standing in front of his room, like he was waiting for him.
Zuki noticed Foxtrot having a different scent. He didn't know from what, but he shrugged it off. "Ready to duel? Come around outside." He walked past them and headed outside.
"Wow, that was fast and unexpected." He said and giggled. He turned around and walked to follow Zuki.

"Would you still like me to get you a drink? I could meet you at the field with it if you want." Lilis said, following beside Foxtrot.

Foxtrot smiled happily. "That would be nice." He looked foward and noticed Zuki tossing him the wooden sword to him. He caught it in mid air and walked with it.
Zuki wondered. "Has anything happened lately while you were out?"
Foxtrot looked down and didn't say anything. Zuki nodded "Something bad. Well, it doesn't matter. As long as it doesn't mess up your fighting."

Lilis reversed directions quickly and turned down a different hallway. She went to her room and got two canteens. One was half-empty and one was full. They both had blood in them, but the half-empty one was a mix of blood, water, and wine. The alcohol took away most of the taste of blood. Lilis put more water in that one. Thinning the mix out more. She carried the canteens out to the training field with and sat on the edge with them, in direct light with her sword laying beside her.

Foxtrot stood ready when they were ready to fight. Zuki spoke, "Well, get on your guard." He then took off towards foxtrot.
All of a sudden, it was like something was changed in Foxtrot. He seemed to move quicker now and seemed to read the moves easily. He blocked every hit that Zuki tried to score on him. Foxtrot then parried, jump back, then stab at Zuki, shoving the stick at Zuki's stomach harshly.
Zuki stumbled backwards and held his stomach. "Nice shot." He said and smiled. "Now, for more experienced moves." He then quickly moved at inhuman speed at Foxtrot. Foxtrot was shocked and was quickly blocking as hard as he can. He couldn't belive how fast Zuki was. But he blocked, tried to hit, and blocked some more. Just then, Their stick broke in action. Splinters flew everywhere and Foxtrot fell backwards and saw the stick in his hand, also broken.
Zuki looked at the stick he held and said, "I guess these toys are useless now. I think it's time to use real weapons. That is, after a break." He nodded to let Foxtrot go.
Foxtrot got up, breathing heavily and walked over to Lilis. "Man... I can't belive I blocked all of his attacks. It's like I got new powers or something. And it's only been three days since we trained. I couldn't of gotten that good." He looked at the canteens and licked his lips. "Can I have a drink?" He asked.

Lilis nodded, getting up with her other canteen in her hand. She walked over to Zuki and held it out to him. "You might be wanting a drink... and it's all natural." She said softly to him, leaving the canteen by him and walking back to Foxtrot. "Well, it's good to see progress at least. How are you feeling?"

Zuki looked at it, then decided to drink it. The taste was a little bitter, but mostly better than animal blood, which was kind of plain to him. He nodded a thanks to Lilis.
Foxtrot smiled. "A little tired, but I want to keep going for some reason. It's like I have new energy to burn!" He smiled and laughed happily. "He couldn't hit me once! I couldn't belive he's just testing me with his strength. I bet he's not going all out yet though. He didn't even have sweat breaking yet."

Lilis sat on the ground again, makin herself comfortable there. She nodded at Foxtrot's comments. She decided to keep her darker comments to herself.
~ But you have improved on your own Foxtrot. You did practice a lot. ~ Kara said, raising herself up a little.
"Well, working with a training sword will be different. They are heavier, most times, and the injuries from them are often worse. Maybe you should wrap your wrist before you use one." Lilis suggested.

Foxtrot tilted his head, a little confused. "What does wrapping your arm with cloth supposed to do?" He asked and was a little curious. "Oh, can I have a drink? I'm really thirsty!" He said with a smile.
Zuki finished the jug and sat it down. He then looked at Foxtrot, wondering what kind of tricks he could pull on him, before the next day they train. He hasn't gotten full force on him yet, but it might take a while. They have been training for almost a week now.

Lilis looked at Foxtrot with amusement. "I told you that you could have a drink. You can have as much as you want. I can always get more while you guys practice." She told him. "And wrap helps to support your wrist. That's why you wrap sprains, strained muscles and ligaments, and put casts on broken bones. They need the extra support while they heal and a wrap will provide that."

Foxtrot picked up the pitcher that was the mix of blood and water. He then drank some of it. He thought it tasted funny. "Hmm... Doesn't taste like water." He then shrugged and drank some more of it. He then sat it down.
"Alright, talking is over. Let's fight again." Zuki said, now holding two training swords.
"Just a second Zuki!" he called to him as he pulled out a long string of ripped cloth from his bag and wrapped it around his elbows. He then tied it together and walked over to Zuki. He took the sword and noticed the different weight. It was much heavier than the wooden stick and it will take longer to react and swing with. He didn't know what to do.
"Alright, let's begin." He then swung with normal speed at Foxtrot. Foxtrot yelped and blocked the attack. It was true, it was harder to block with and to fight with, but he held on. He swung his blade to attempt to hit Zuki, but Zuki blocked it with ease. Then Zuki suprised him by hitting him across the chest with the blade a little harshly. Foxtrot staggered and held his side. He then growled and swung madly at Zuki with amazing speed. Zuki saw many openings, but he could get to them, because he only had one blade.

Lilis watched, her eyes glittering. Foxtrot had yet to pick up a fighting style, but he was much better than many other children his age. This was interesting to Lilis. She leaned forward, her elbows propped on her knees as she watched them, studying their movements.

Foxtrot hit after hit, then suprised Zuki by twirling around and sliced as hard as he could right at his side. Zuki growled and tried to sucker punch him, but Foxtrot dodged and grabbed his hand. He then was suprised when Foxtrot immediately brought the sword up to his neck. That was the end of the fight.
Zuki backed away and sighed. He shook his head. "That's impossible. He beat me so easily. In just one whole week of training!"

Lilis stood up. Her eyes were purple and glittering brightly. She wore a slight smug but very sly smile on her lips.
"Does this mean it's my turn to spar with him? Or would you like to have a friendly go with me Zuki?" Lilis asked quietly from the sidelines. There was a malicious gleam lurking in the back of her eyes and it showed in her smile.
