Rae walked into the town of Crysos, she had never been here before and this was a goal of hers. She watched her back knowing vampires lurked all around. She had finally become used to the idea of no Ryhe, though she did not like it. She looked at all the people around her wondering what there lives were like, if they were filled with as much pain as her own.

On a bench, Gravedigger sat.... on his head. His elbows supporting himself on each side of his head. Unlike Ryhe, he let his muscle's deflate and was a thin man with white hair and dark skin. He wore a white Nobelmen's outfit as he relaxed.

Rae decided she needed a rest and plopped down beside him on the bench, unknowing of who she sat with. She watched the people pass by as she wondered aimlessly through the jungles of her mind.

Grave felt her sit down and asked, without looking, "Great weather, isn't it?"

"Yeah, beautiful day." she said still not paying attention to who she was talking to, though she probably wouldn't have recognized him if she did see him.

"My Ex husband, he stopped loving me for no reason. Though he promised to always be at my side, and love me until I died." she said a tear coming from her eye, she looked very different herself. Her hair was in tangles, and she was covered in dirt, her smile was replaced with a frown, laughter with tears, and under her eyes dark circles took form.

Grave opened an eye and looked at her. He frowned, "That sounds oddly familiar..."

She turned her head and examined the stranger before her, "Unless... OH MY GOD!" she said realizing who was sitting with her on the bench. She was shocked so much she fell off the bench. "GRAVEDIGGER!" she said her mouth wide with terror.

"AIE!" Grave lost his balance and he fell off himself. He rubbed his head and looked at her, blinking, "Do I... know you?"

"No, I am just the girl you used to get to Ryhe!" she said the name chocking her as it came out of her mouth. The dispicable grave digger did not even know it was her, he had loved her, she remembered. He did not harm her again after the cell, maybe he had changed, she thought to herself.

He stood and offered his hand to help her up, "He did it again, didn't he?"

"Did what?" she asked helping herself up, she wasn't about to trust him when he had tricked her so many times before, and used her in so many ways.

He curled his hand back and sighed, "Stopped loving. He did it to me.. but not in the way he loves you. The first two-hundred years wer wonderful and powerful... until he killed his wife.. eh." he watched her.

"Ryhe killed his wife?" she asked in disbelief, but then looked at him and said, "But wait this is another of your tricks, where you tell me one thing that means something else." she said crossing her arms.

he shook his head, "I've outgrown that. Besides, now that I'm free... there's no need to fear me."

"That whole thing in the cell then, what was that retalliation? I mean, I thought you really had the answer, when all you did was get your way and make my life hell for a while. I wanted to understand you, I wanted to let you both live, but you made me want to kill." she said as she looked at her shoes, remembering the love that had made her want to risk her life for Ryhe's.

He looked away, "To tell you the truth... I had no idea what it was... I think.... I felt weird.. like... floaty... I dunno."

"Like love?" she asked in a dreamy state for a moment, remembering every "floaty" moment she herself had had. She snapped out of it and looked to see what Gravedigger's answer would be to her most sensitive question.

"That day when we separated you and Ryhe." she said thinking back to the day when she was worried, and joyous all at the same time, "Why did you harm everyone, but me?" She had been askeing herself this many times over, Rhye had said he was in love with her, but at the same time he had never been in love.

She didn't know what to say, or do, or for that matter think. She was confused, and didn't know what she even believed anymore. Men had always doen things like this to her, and the one she believed would never have done so, had left her for another. "What do we do now?" she asked her hands on her hips.
