"Yea. Right now, just one thing. Do not say the word 'date', and I'll be perfectly fine.."

Seya went quiet and smiled. "Easy enough! So... What do you want to do while we talk?"

"Not sure. Seya, can I learn a little about China? You seem to be the perfect person to learn from.."
Malco said, smiling a bit.

Seya smiled. "Okay, anything you want. What do you want to know about China?" She asked curiously. She looked at his golden bright eyes. She sighed and then snapped herself back to reality to listen to his question.

"Well...everything, pretty much.."
Malco replied, sitting down on a rock.

Seya turned around and seemed to blow a kiss, but then, frost circled and started to build an icy rock. She then started crafting it and created a seat. She magically lifted the cut peices up and tossed them to the side. She walked and sat down and smiled. "Alright... Well, China is a very big place where there are lots of people. We only are allowed to have one child, unless you live on the mountain side, then you will be allowed to have only two. If you happen to have more than one child though, the baby will be killed, which is terrible. I dislike the Ruler over there."
"But good things about China is that there are alot of skillful warriors that protects us and we have alot of dragon worshipers there you wouldn't belive. The Chinese Dragon, Yuri is my guardian. He watches over me with his great strength and foresight on seeing the heart of the person, to tell weather they are good or bad. We all have Guardians over there."

"Wow. Dragon Guardians, only one child, thats different. But, we're not completely different. My family has guardians of their Zodiac, and are able to transform either into a human, their Zodiac creature, or a mix between both..."
He said, patting Zilcro.

Seya nodded. "That sounds neat! I never knew there were such powers to transform into the Chinese Zodiac signs!" She smiled and wondered. "So. What's it like living over here?"

"Well, things are much different. We have kinder rulers then what I am guessing yiu have, and people are allowed to have as many children as they please, as long as they can take care of them. There is almost no crime, despite the fact of the assassins and the theives.."

Seya smiled. "Assassains are very popular from where I live. The kings hire them to kill what they want for money. They are great with their power and magic powder tricks. Why? Are the assassains here evil or something? They must be using them on the wrong scale then." She said and sighed. "But theivery doesn't take it too kindly. The punishment is death either by hangings, or beheaded."

"Not here. The assassins usually go for people they want revenge on, and they don't even dare go near the royalty, for the royalty really haven't done anything wrong. As for the theives, they usually get caught, but, they usually go to the jail. They never really are freed until after their punishment, depending on how serious it is. The kids that steal, though, are set free, because they aren't allowed to work until they're at least 13, from what I've heard."

Seya smiled even happier. "Wow, this place is better than I thought! I'm glad I moved from China. China isn't a great place to live. Lots of people are poor and there isn't much to do there, besides farm. I grew up on the farm and I had enough money to move anywhere I want and I picked this place. Problem is, I'm not allowed back into china anymore, no matter what. They said I'm cursed when I leave China."
|
|
|
Post by Karita on Jan 14, 2006 21:44:28 GMT -5
"You aren't cursed, trust me. They just don't want the country to get too overpopualted. The poorer a country, the harder it is to feed. It doesn't help when there are a lot of people in the country, also.."

Seya shook her head. "No, you mistake me. I am cursed. I am cursed on becoming a dragon and a dracian. I used to be human, but the dark dragon cursed me, instead of helping me when I was in need. But I've taken a liking to the curse." She sighed and looked down. "But that's all. I'm not human anymore. It means I'm not allowed to enter the lands anymore, because I'm different now."

"Oh. Well, you still should be allowed in. Like you said, dragons were the guardians. And personally, my family call them gifts, you just have to look on the bright side."
Malco said back, smirking as he did so.

Seya looked down and thought for a bit. "Ya... I guess your right. I mean, I am a dragon now. Just that I can't stay in my human form for too long, then I go into my true form." She smiled then and nodded. "Thanks. That makes me feel a little better. But still, I don't want to go back to China anyways, because they are very evil and unkind people. The king and high rulers are selfish and they keep the food for themselves." She sighed. "And they give heavy taxes to the poor."
|
|
|

"No one should do that. But trust me, here, the rulers are kind, and the taxes are next to nothing. Thy prefer making others happy, instead of making themselves happy..."

Seya smiled. "That's good then! I hope it's alright if I could stay here... I don't have a home yet and I live out in the woods alone." She sighed and looked at the woods. "And this area is my home. It's quiet and not many people knows of this place."

Malco nodded again.
"Homes are easy to find here.."
He said, watching Seya.

Seya looked at Malco. "Really? You think I could get a home? But... I don't have much money. I only have several gold coins that I find on the ground."

"Here, take these."
Malco tossed her a heavy bag, small points sticking out of the sides.
"I have plenty of them, you should get a very nice home with them."

When Seya caught it, she almost felt like she was going to get crushed under the weight. "Agh! Wow... This bag is very full..." She lifted it up. "But... Malco... I can't accept your money. I'm used to living in the wilds anyways and... If we plan to love each other from where I come from, I move into the man's home. Plus... I don't think girls are not allowed to buy a house, unless the man that owns the lady allows it." She said honestly.

"Here, plenty of girls own homes. My sister Jaca; though, she's now going out with Synn..anyway, I can give you the addresses of tons of girls who live alone, ad own their own property."

She thought about it and looked down at the money bag. "But... so much money. I've never seen so much together. I'm sure there would be leftover money after I buy a house. Please... I don't want to accept your money. Your giving me too much. Knowing your like me is good enough." She said to him. "Anyways... where would you live if you don't have this money? What about money for food or... Hunting laws? Is there anything about that?"
|
|
|
Post by Karita on Jan 19, 2006 19:14:17 GMT -5
"There really aren't any hunting laws, except against dragons and other rare creatures, such as the Unicorn Horse. They are extremely rare around here, and we don't want them killed. Besides, I have plenty more. And if I never need any, I just ask my brother, X. You'd mistake him for a king, almost.."
Malco laughed a bit.
"But he isn't. Which reminds me, my sister, Karita, was wondering if I culd find friends of mine to come to her wedding. She'd appreciate it if you go to the Kestal Chapel when you hear the bells of beginning.."
