"I do? Heh, to tell you the truth, I made up that last one off the top of mi head." He laughed lightly, "I know I lost half of mi crowd already."

I don't know. You'd be surprised at who may come back tomorrow. She told him and straightened from her drawing pad to roll her neck and shoulders. Where are you from?

The teller looked up, then down, "The Fae plane." He noticed her drawing pad, "What cha drawin?"

Hm? Where’s that? She asked and then held her drawing closer. I’ll let you see it when I’m done. Not before.

"Oh, the usual, over seas and cavers, cliffs and land blah blah blah. Let's say, no around here." He smiled, "I can't wait to see."

Nobody likes to wait. She grumbled and pulled out a stuffed drawing pad out of her bag. She offered it to him. But you can look at those in the meantime.

Airen snorted and went back to her new drawing. Depends on who you ask. I don’t like most of them, but that’s probably because I’m the artist. Would you like more food?

"No thank you, I'm stuffed." His plate was empty as he looked through the pictures. He looked up, "Pardon me for asking, but, you're a reader. right? What would you advise me to do next in my story, I'm stumped."

You mean the one to be continued tomorrow? Personally, kill the girl, for the crowd… well, she looked up at the stars, pondering that. You could have the king come back in the middle of the night and beg for more. Or you could have a guard beat and rape her. Or when the king comes back the next day you could let her hint in her tale that she loves him. I’m a copyist for the most part, but I do occasionally read and that’s mostly things like tax records, writs for arrest or death, or supplies.

The teller looked up, "Such sick endings." He shook his head and offered her back her pad.

What can I say? I don’t like stories that all end the same. Oh sigh, they realize and live happily ever after. Peh! Off with her head! Let’s see the king break down in tears when he realizes that he lost something beautiful just because he was too stupid to see it. She said a bitter edge almost in her voice as she thought about Torak.

He blinked several times, "Is there... a problem? I sense one."

Nope, no problem. She said smoothly and a fat flame rolled down her arm. It died and more flames sparked over her skin and clothes. No, no problem except my husband's cheating jerk!

"Uh oh... wanna talk about it?" He tilted his head to the side, "I've dealt with a disloyal spouse as well."

No, I want to nail him to the wall and slow cook him. I want an answer for his stupidity and what he’s going to do now. She growled and constant flames lazily rolled over her skin.

There was a sudden smirk on the man's face, "I have just the thing, li'le lady. Ever heard 'The True bride'?"

Nope. What’s that? Airen asked as she tried to calm herself.
(Do you have a plan for “Quiet Sunday” now or do you want me to just lapse to later, when she comes back?)

"Alright, ahem." His voice started echoing. If she was closer to him ealier, she would have felt this echo earlier. This is what hooked the people.
Once upon a time, in a land far beyond our own, there was a woman and her name was Ana. She was a brilliant young princess, charming, elegant, loveable... but very very lonely. She was introduced to many young suitors, yet, none would fill what she wanted. Once morning, she went to her balconey and saw the gardener... it was love at first sight.

" So, they planned to marry. He ordered his suit from some far off land, so, he had to go get it. She waited days... days melted into months... monthes melted into a year. So, she went to go looking for him. She spent another year looking for the town he went to. When she got there..." he waited to see if she was still interested.
