I'm fine, and, just the flash of light got me. That's all. I'll be fine, I promise..
Zye brushed her dress off, figuring there was dirt on it now.

He gently brushed off her hands then he looked at her rump. He was about to brush the dirt from it, but he thought better of this, "There's some on yer butt." figuring she'd want to brush it off herself instead of a strange man.

Oh. Thanks.
Zye said, and quickly brushed it off. She thought a moment.
Just curious, but, what's your name?
She lied, already knowing it from being in his mind.

"Ryhe Teran, your's?" he let go of her arm and smiled.

My name's long, but I'm going to save you the grief. It's Zye, in short.
Zye replied with small grin.

He smiled and mouthed her name. He closed his eyes, "Beautiful..."

Zye shrugged.
Common where I come from. Or, came from...heard of the so caleld fabled Atlantis, or whatever people are calling it nowadays?

"Atlantis? Isn't that the city under the sea?" Ryhe's brow furrowed.

Yup. I lived there, before the earthquake. I managed to escape due to me feeling vibrations and no one else can track them. Only a few other people survived. Now it's lost under the sea. Anyway, the name Zye was popular there. And, well, I'm the only Zye left...
She shrugged, as if she really didn't care that much.

He looked to the floor silently, he knew what it was like to physically be separated from home. But he was emotionally attached, then his ear lowered a bit in depression, Fivin....

Zye looked at him, and tilted her head.
Who's Fivin?
She wondered, trying to figure it out.

He looked at her and smiled weakly, "He's my son... from a deceased lover..." he closed his eyes and imagined his son. Fivin looked like a twin of his father, but both eye were intact and his ears were fine. Then, his mind raced over to Fivin's wife, a thin, dark brown haired maiden and his grandchildren, a tall thin, almost looked his father's age boy with his mother's hair, a girl with red hair, pregnant, and a small boy, looking like his father and grandfather, but in a hunter's incident, he lost his eye and he used ink to make the tattoos like Ryhe's over his eye. Ryhe smiled at the image of his family, then only real one he's known.

Zye nodded, hiding her sadness from never seeing her family.
Well, I'll take my leave now, Ryhe. I won't bother you anymore, and thanks again.
She turned around, feeling the vibrations from the crowd outside. She managed to not smack into anything, and she wandered into the crowd.

He took a breath to yelled for her to stop... be he remembered what happened last time he told a girl to wait and he closed his mouth, watching her blend with the crowd with a sad expression..

A drunk watched Zye, and using his hand that held the whiskey, he tried to grab at her. A little bit of it flung into her ear, and she yelped, covering it. She then thought a moment, and stopped. She grinned, and feeling the air and vibrations again, she grabbed the whiskey and ran into the crowd with it again. She then stuck her finger in it, pulled it out, and dabbed it into her ears more and more.
"Odd. That...cured my deafness..."
She spoke, then from hearing her voice perfectly, she grinned.

Ryhe had already put his hands into his pockets as he turned and stared at the floor. He headed to the nearest bar to have a drown-yer-troubles-a-thon.

Zye shrugged, then put a little on her pinky. She gently dabbed the whiskey in her eye, and felt them become red. She did it to both, then dropped the bottle, her palms digging into her eyes.
"Oh god...why did I think that would..."
She thought, pulling her palms away.
"Work.."
She grinned, and looked around then at herself.
"I can see!"
She yelled in joy, jumping into the air as she did.

Ryhe froze as his sensitive ear picked up her yelling.
Impossible... he looked back for her.

Zye picked up the bottle she dropped again.
"Hm. Who would have thought whiskey would cure that...strange, but I'm glad it did!"
She grinned, she threw the bottle behind her, hearing it smash against the wall.
"No more needing to feel the air and earth, no more needing others. I'm a free bird!"

He took a deep breath, "Then fly free..." and he turned back to the bar and headed in.

Zye's ears perked up as well, and she headed to the bar with a smug grin, proud that she figured out the cure. She silently cheered herself, glad she could see almost everything now. Except her home. She sighed, dissapointed only a moment.

Ryhe was at the bar. He looked to the tender andsat down, placing his elbows on the table, " Dwarven rum, please."

Zye slinked in quietly, managing in when someone else was leaving. She grinned when she saw Ryhe, then crept up behind him as quiet as she possibly could.

He didn't hear her. He thanked the keep as he was handed his drink and he took a swing, dowing it all.

Zye grinned even more, then was about an inch away from him.
"Hi Ryhe."
She said, poking him on the shoulder.
