Verse chuckled, "Again, your words are words of flattery."
Now Ryhe was against two dragons. small ones and wingless. He still had one in a head lock and was bashing the other around with the first.

She just grunted and wondered how much longer Ryhe would be down there. “Appreciate it. I don’t do it often.” She said as she took a drink. “The whole army hates me for pushing their training so hard. Insubordinate curs.”

Verse nodded, "Should make sense."
At a point, a dragon whipped him in the back and he yowled, then one swallowed him whole. Verse jumped, then bolted down the steps to help.

Lilis looked up. “Kaie?”
I am here. I am ready to help. The demoness responded, merging out of Lilis and looking down at the field. She teleported down and distracted the dragon that hadn’t swallowed Ryhe. This made an opening for Verse.

Verse tackled the other dragon down, punching it in the stomach. When the hard scales broke his knuckles, he took out a dagger and tried to frantically break through.

Lilis sighed and pulled her hood up before teleporting down to the field. She carried her purple swords and headed for the dragon Kaie was distracting. Kaie hissed at it and teleported near Verse to help him. Lilis placed herself squarely in front of the other dragon.
Let me help you little one. Kaie said, touching Verse’s head with a long talon.

The dragon hissed and sputtered at her, raising to it's back haunches like a bear and snarling at her.
Verse looked up at her, his eyes glossy with pain, " I... I can't get him out." He looked down at the dragon's body, then large mass that was Ryhe wiggled and tried to get free, but his movements were getting weaker.

Lilis looked up at the dragon, unfazed. She raised the tip of one sword, but otherwise didn't move. She waited for the dragon. It was no good to rush into an attack and then suddenly go on the defense because of a bad attack.
Kaie stabbed her talons through the dragon hide above the stomach and let them drag down. She made sure to pull them out some so that she wouldn't hurt Ryhe, but it was unlikely that he would come out uninjured. She just hoped that her partner would remain uninjured, but Lilis was a very good fighter with more experience than most people could hope for.

Verse backed up, watching Kaie.
The dragon roared and leapt at her.

Kaie reached the end and the entrails spilled onto the arena floor. She hummed and sliced the stomach open with one talon, letting its contents spill onto the arena floor as well.
Lilis dodged to one side and struck out with one of her swords at its head. She darted back and then forward to its side to drive the demon blade between the ribs.

The dragon that ate the elf roared, squirming and thrashing around.
As soon as he hit the floor, Ryhe jumped up and yelled, his flesh buring due to the stomach acids. He tried to rub it off, the skin staring to smoke.
The other dragon roared as the bladed entered it's body.

Kaie watched Ryhe. Her eyes glowed faintly and the sky darkened omniously. Being an Apocalyptic Demon, Kaie manipulated the weather so that it started to rain, but this was a down pour.
It is good to see you again. Kaie commented evenly, her eyes glowing through the dimness.
Lilis wrenched her sword out and then jumped onto the dragon's back to ram a sword through its neck.

Ryhe sighed at the rain, smiling back to Kaie, "I love you." He helped rub off the acid from his skin, "And I owe you."
Verse watched as the squealing, daying dragons wiggled, then stopped moving.

Kaie snorted and waved off his thanks. She acted like Lilis did when someone thanked her.
You it to Verse. He was here first. She replied and looked over to her partner.
Lilis slid off of the dragon after freeing her sword. She stood on the ground, the water running down the sides of her cloak and dripping into the dust. She looked at Kaie, Ryhe, and Verse. She dropped her swords, they disappeared, and she walked over to them, but stopped several feet away.

Verse smiled, "Thank you, Lilis and Kaie."
Ryhe chuckled and wrung out his shirt, "I say, I second that."

Kaie merged back into Lilis, who only shrugged. The rain slackened some and then began to disipate. Lilis looked at Verse, noted the knuckles, and then looked at Ryhe, noticing the burns.
"You two are a mess." She said softly. "I want to heal you both."

Each looked at their wounds, then shrugged, "I'm fine."
They looked at each other, then laughed at the fact that they said that in unisen.

Lilis just stood silently. She raised her gaze to the spectators, feeling nervous again. She fidgeted, feeling out of place down in the arena.
"Very well," she whispered and found a shadow along the wall to hide in, allowing the slight darkness to swallow her up.

Verse frowned deeply, "Lilis... we can go if you're really that uncomfortable..." Ryhe watched as he wrung out his clothes.

“I’m fine.” Lilis lied easily. “I just don’t like open places that well.”

"We can go back, it's alright." Verse stepped close to the shadows, looking for her.
Ryhe nudged a dragon's body, grumbling.

“Back where exactly?” She asked, stepping out some so that her outline was visible. Lilis looked like a wraith now.

Lilis looked around. “Do you want to stay? I’ll be fine.” She was lying again, but she didn’t want to make Verse leave just because of her.

He shook his head, looking at his hands as they healed, "I can come here anytime. if you wanna leave, I'm perfectly fine with it."
