Alone

[Karita]

Karita sipped out of a wine glass, feeling the tingle of elven blood against her tounge. She sighed, and slammed the glass on the table when she was done, but not breaking it.

"More."

he simply said, staring at the ground. She sighed again, not believing how much her body hated her.

[Zuki Tamaro]

Lizara sighed when she approached in around the inn. She sat down next to the table of Karita.

The Bartender tilted his head. "Something wrong, Queen Karita?" He took the glass of wine and poured more of the Elven blood into the glass. He then sat it back down in front of her.

[Karita]

Karita grabbed the glass of blood and sipped and then mutterd under her breath.

"No. Just Zui's going to be prety angry when I break the news to him..."

Karita sighed for the third time, sipping down the rest. She sighed, and put it on the table.

"By the way, I haven't seen Xerxes lately. Have you?"

[Zuki Tamaro]

The bartender shook his head. "No mam. I sure haven't. Usually he would pop in, but not anymore."

Lizzy heard the conversation. "Xerxes? My guy?" She stood up and walked over to sit closer to them, but far enough away.

"And, what's the breaking news that you have?" He asked her. "Not that... I should know, but I'm just curious."

[Karita]

I'd rather not say. Knowing a few people here that are probably evesdropping, they'd tell Zuki. And, yes, Xerxes, your guy, my brother."

Karita crossed her arms, and laid her head on them. Large, long jagged scars were on them.

[Zuki Tamaro]

Lizzy tilted her head. "What happened to you? You look like you got mauled by a dragon or something. Those are some nasty wounds."

The bartender barked, "Don't talk to the Queen like that! It's inapropriate."

[Karita]

"Well, I happened to. Many more scars like that all over. And what do you know, you're listening in."

Karita replied to the bartender. She closed her eyes, then opened them again.

"Lizzy, do you mind if you come with me to Torak's? He's like a doctor, except he uses magic, and...I just need you to be there. Since he's...well...sort of one of those people who blurt out facts without realizing it..."

[Zuki Tamaro]

The bartender nodded. Lizzy shrugged. "Well, why not? I'm sure to like meet that guy. I won't flirt with him though. I don't flirt, unless I kill them anyways now. Or unless I kinda fell in love with them." She then thought. "Wait, he's one of those hot guys that I have been hearing about. This is interesting."

[Karita]

"Yea, I guess. You've seen My brother Malco, right? Well, Torak, in my opinion, is cuter. But once you meet him, you'll be creeped out. Trust me."

Karita then got up.

"Come on, we'd better go..."

[Zuki Tamaro]

The bartender waved. "Travel safe, Queen Karita."

Lizzy nodded and got up. She then followed behind Karita. "What? Does he calculate on everything he does?"

[Karita]

"Pretty much, yes. He can calculate the exact time the first raindrop of the year that will fall. In ten years."

Karita headed out of theInn, and started down a hill, past some trees and brush.

"Torak lives far from Kestal, because all the girls there think he's cute. Here, he isn't bothered..."

[Zuki Tamaro]

Lizzy nodded. "So it seems. Not many people gets into fights on who's beautiful or not here that much. I kinda like it here, but I travel to Kestal, where there are more crimes that I lead into." She smirked. "But the pay is higher over here when you catch or kill the criminal." She then thought, "Oh, have you heard there is a bounty on Zuki for killing fifty innocents for no reason? It's kinda crazy. All of them were guys. What I think is happening is another purple colored Elf causing mischeif, because the body count stopped when people talked about the new Zuki."

[Karita]

"Zuki isn't even purple anymore. And, I'll tell Zuki about that. Knowing him, he'll look into it."

Karita replied. She then slid down a slop, and jumped at the end.

"Well, here's Torak's house."

She said, looking at it. It wasn't the biggest, nor the smallest. It was made out of stones, and had a wooden roof.

[Zuki Tamaro]

Lizzy looked at the house. "Hmm, looks like a nice and cozy place to live. Let's knock, shall we?" She went up to the door and knocked for her.

[Karita]

Karita nodded. She tepped behind Lizarar, and the door suddenly opened. Torak stared at Lizara a moment.

"You have exactly 3,569 scales on your body."

He said, without really knowing it. He then saw Karita.

"Karita! What are you dong here?"

"Uh..Torak, can I have one of you're x-ray type potions?"

"Oh, sure. Why?"

"No reason, just...I may need it..."

"Alright...here you go."

Torak dissapered a moment, then came back, and handed Karita a small botle full of liquid.

[Zuki Tamaro]

Lizzy shook her head. "Na uh. You miscounted three. I have three thousand, five hundred and seventy one scales. I should know. I counted when I was bored." She smiled at him. "But I give you credit. You did get very close." She then turned her attention to Karita and the bottle. She wondered what it does.

[Karita]

"Oh, my bad. I forgot the ones on the bottom of your left foot."

"Come on, Lizzy, lets go."

Karita said, pulling on Lizara. Torak chuckled, then headed back inside.

[Zuki Tamaro]

Lizzy laughed. She was about to say something, untill she felt herself dragged away. "W-wait! I wanted to talk some more."

[Karita]

"Sorry, but you already are in love with the snake charmer. And besides, Torak likes being single. I asked him."

Karita kept pulling Lizara farther and farther, until they were deep in the forest. Karita collasped on the ground, swirling the potion around a bit.

[Zuki Tamaro]

Lizzy sighed. "Your right. I shouldn't of done that. Sometimes I just wouldn't know." She looked at Karita. "Now, what are you going to do with that bottle? And why did you bring me here in a middle of nowhere?"

[Karita]

"We aren't in the middle of nowhere, were about a few meters from the inn's backdoor. And, I'm just tired at the moment."

Karita swirled the bootle around again.

"And, this potion lets you see the inside of your body. I was going to check something..."

[Zuki Tamaro]

Lizara nodded. "Oh, okay. I'll just watch then." She crossed her arms and sighed. "Man, it's busy here at night. But it's opposite over at Kestal."

[Karita]

"Uhh, Lizzy? I meant I was going to check later."

Karita said, still feeling tired. The glases of blood were getting to her.

[Zuki Tamaro]

Lizzy nodded. "I know. I'm going to watch when this happens. I'm quite interested in it." Lizzy then tilted her head. "Is something the matter? You look drowzy."

[Karita]

"Oh, no, I'm fine. Really. It's just, I'd rather not look through my stomach around here..."

Karita replied, getting back up.
