Ryhe closed his eyes and smiled, it had been a while since he'd done this. He stood in a glen, the sun bearing down on him. He wore a animal skin kilt that seemed a dark brown leopard. It was held against his thick waist with a belt, holding two long, curving bladed swords. He had more of the skin draped around his shoulders and it formed a cape. Not the super hero one, the medieval shoulder one that had a hood. His red hair was free as was his burnt eye. He smiled and opened his eyes and started running, his doeskin boots silent.

Intain was also out in the forest. He both hated and loved hunting. He loved it because it was fun, for him, but he hated it because his white pelt made him an easy target for trappers... or someone looking for a pretty pelt. Intain growled softly, the doe nearest him raised her head. He laid down and waited for the herd to calm down again. No use to startle the herd away. Rabbits were fun to catch, but they weren't very filling.
... Ten Minutes Later ... Intain peeked at the herd. He grinned. A young buck with midget spikes grazed in front of him. The rest of the herd was grouped more closely together near the heart of the meadow. The buck was alone.
Intain crept forward, inching towards the buck. The buck raised its head. Intain charged out at it. The buck ran and Intain let it. A chase was fun too. He's a cat and he likes to play with his food.
After the buck ran for a minute or so, Intain swiped at its back legs. The buck tripped. Intain was at its throat in an instant. Blood rushed into his mouth as he chewed at the buck's neck. It died quickly and he began to eat.
(Sorry if it's too long. I take a while to set the stage.)

Ryhe's sensitive ear picked up deer bleating and flesh tearing. He grinned, the berzerkir on the inside pumping his muscles and hightening his senses, preparing him for his own hunt. He got on all fours and stalked. He lifted his head and grinned, he smelled the cat near.

Intain flipped an ear back, but didn't bother to stop eating. He'd skipped a few meals while he'd been up in the mountains and was starving. It was always good to be in the snow, ice, and harsh weather again. He'd spoken to Airlia too. That made him stopped eating. Intain looked around. Nothing in sight but trees, other brush, and rocks. His skin crawled, but he couldn't find any immediate danger. Intain returned to eating.

Ryhe's eyes narrowed, his orange one's iris shrinking and turning an ice blue. The other's just disappeared. He cackled insanely and howled inhumanly. He grinned, the tusks growing and waited for his prey to run.

Intain hissed sharply and twisted about in surprise. He back up over his kill and crouched over it. After starving for days, he really wanted the buck. It could leave or fight him for all he cared. He was hungry and he was going to feed. Nothing would deter him. Intain hissed again and laid his ears flat against his skull.

Ryhe's muscles increased enough and horns poked out of his mane of auburn. He roared and bolted out, his arms grew in length to work with his legs slightly bent. He bounded at a great speed towards Intain.

For a split second, Intain just stared and then wished he could roar. Pity he couldn't. Yowling angrily, Intain charged at... it. Funny, the things being half-starved and sleep deprived could do to you. Mainly, it made you crazy. In his right sense, Intain would have tried running up a tree. Lucky or unlucky thing that his claws could retract.

A black foam poured from the tusks as he snarled, the jumped to his back legs and swung his arm back, throwing a punch at the large cat.

Intain gave another yowl. He tried to stop and only partially missed the blow. He caught some of it in his ribs and it set him rolling in the dirt. Hissing angrily and in pain, Intain got back to his paws and circled off to its right. He would have to take this more carefully.

The berzerkir followed the cat wit it's head, then turned to keep it in view, snorting madly, the foam hitting the ground.

Intain hissed in reply. What in the hells in that? He thought as he growled at it. Whatever it was, it picked its fights. Intain knew was in a bad way. It was likely that he would lose this battle, if he wasn't careful.

He narrowed his eye and grinned, getting on all fours himself and circling the beast himself. He opted to have some fun. He lowered his head and waited for the cat's move.

(Oh Bloody Hell!)
Intain was surprised, so he backed up a couple of paces. He glanced back, but kept one eye on... it. There was a high cliff wall behind him. He could probably leap up half the distance and then he would just have to climb. Of course, this being that it permitted him a few seconds to run and then jump. He looked looked back and bared his teeth.

(This is fun! ;D I should make Ryhe-ie-poo a berzerkir more often!)
The berzerkir got impatient and roared, leaping at the cat. His tusks were at the ready to tear.

Kilian hissed again and kicked up a pawful of dirt. He hopped sideways, rebounded off a tree, and landed on the opposite side of it. He took off at a dead run towards the cliff and leapt up. He shifted to his middle form and caught the wall. Intain looked back to see how high he was and to see what it was doing.

The berzerkir was standing. Staring at the spot he was at. He followed the movements Intain just did, though the cat was on the cliff, top him. He roared and ran at him.

Intain sighed and climbed up higher. The mountains were still far away. Desperately hoping a friend was nearby, Intain gave a sharp whistle. He looked back again and climbed faster.

Barkbanathan's ear tiwtched and looked up. The small dragon snorted, waiting to see if it was a real response or not.
The berzerkir snarled and climbed after him.

~ Oh what's the matter now? ~ A familiar and testy voice asked, BreezeBane.

Bark smelled something familiar and he got to his feet, sniffling more and walking towards it. That smell... is it what attacked mommy?
The beast below growled and stared jumping off anything to get there faster. He reached the top and pulled himself up.

Intain turned and his eyes went wide. "Shit..." He shifted to his leopard form and took off at a run, jumping over boulders and running between them. He would try anything to get away from that blood thirsty creature.
A little faster, please, Breeze.
~ Why? ~
IT'S A LIFE OR DEATH SITUATION AND IT'S LIKELY TO END WITH DEATH IF YOU DON'T HURRY YOUR WINGED BUTT UP!!!
~ Okay, okay... keep your fur on. I'm coming.~

GOD BANE!!!
The gray and black pegasus crashed through the trees to fly beside Intain. ~ What did you call me!? ~
I called you nothing! Hi beautiful! Have I told you how happy I am to see you?
~ No... What is that? ~
Something that wants to eat me, I think.
BreezeBane snorted and tossed her head. ~ I don't think you'd taste good. ~
Thanks ever so! Intain retorted and leapt over another boulder.

The berzerkir was nearly on his tail. The creature grinned and jumped into the bushes to the side, continuing to chase him, but trying to make him think he gave up.
