Bluu didn't catch that, because he was being tickled under his chin. He lifted his head and smiled happily. ~That's good then!~ He giggled, sounding like a little short growls and licked his hand.
Jotie smiled. He looked forward and noticed they were already coming closer to the Kingdom and the Palace walls. He then said, "Once when we enter, I would love to hear a story from you telling Bluu also. I figured since I don't spend much time with Bluu, nor him spending much time with me, we both could use a story or two."

Kilian smiled and scratched Bluu’s head. “As it pleases you my Lord.” He murmured used his hand to feel Bluu’s head again. “How old are you Bluu and what kind of story would you like to hear?”

Bluu couldn't help it. ~I am only three years. Still a baby. But I want to hear a story about your life! I've already listened to Jotie's story and it was neat! But I like to know your life story!~ He happily said and grinned.
Jotie laughed and remembered that time. It was a long story that put Bluu happily to sleep. Sometimes, Jotie sleeps with Bluu when he feels like it, which is most of the time. He liked sleeping in the outdoors, but the royal citizens complain and tell him to sleep in the saftey of his quarters.

“Wow, three years old and you’re this big?” Kilian whistled in awe. “But, about my life story… you really don’t want to hear it all, do you? Some of it's pretty boring and, as two-leggers go, I've lived for a while."

Bluu nodded. ~I want to know at least some of the important stuff you did.~ He grinned about the comment about being big too. ~I grow fast. I want to become bigger faster, but I can't. I don't know how.~ He said. ~I want to be big as a tree! Or a house. Or a ship!~

“Well, consider growing a test of patience. The more patient you are while you grow, the more you have when comes to other, important matters, like hunting or fighting. Don’t forget to enjoy being young and small Bluu, when you’re older and bigger you’ll miss these years.” Kilian told him, dropping his hand back to his side. “Perhaps I should start my story with my first vision? Or would you prefer to hear what happened the first time I picked up a weapon?”

Bluu happily grinned. ~A weapon story would be fun!~ And roared happily. ~Is this when you fight? Who win? What weapon is it? Please tell!~ he happily asked.
They walked through the castle gates and headed torwards the palace down a finely built road.

Kilian laughed and smiled somewhat fondly and somewhat bitterly.
"It was spring. The air was just warming in the afternoon sun and I had turned nine years old two weeks before. My father took me out into fencing court and paired me off with an older boy before he walked away. My opponent was about twice my height, weight, and strength. I was outmatched, but perhaps not outsmarted. That was my goal, to beat my opponent by outsmarting him.
"For the better part of two hours I dodged my opponent, tiring him out. I was getting tired too, but not quite as tired as my opponent was. He was panting for breath and had began to stagger when he walked. I suppose I should have guessed it was an act, but I didn't. When I moved to attack, I found that my opponent wasn't as tired as he appeared." Kilian paused in his story to smile again. "It was rather like cornering an animal and then advancing to kill it. Now, if the animal is a carnivor then it is will try to kill you before they die... that is how my opponent was.
"Well, from then on it was a proper fight. There was no way for me to evade him because he kept coming at me with seemingly relentless hatred. I had to continually switch hands because my arms would go numb whenever I would be forced to parry a blow with my own sword. So, then, this continued for a half hour and by then we were both aware of our audience."
Kilian paused in his story and turned his face upwards to the sunlight on his face. Darkness settled over him and he seemed to collapse in on himself. When he poke again, his voice was low and there was no more emotion to it.
"It was late afternoon when we were finally feeling our limits. Sweat dripped from our bodies like torrential downpours. I stood on one side of the court and he stood on the other. (NOT DONE!)

(Well, I'm not going to interupt the story.)
Bluu seemed to widen his eyes as he listened to the story intently. He was caught with exitment and wanted to hear more of it. When he paused at the at 'as tired as he appeared,' he seemingly gasped and wanted to hear more. When he continued, Bluu listened with great interest and absorbed all of what he was saying.
