The elf walked quietly, tall grasses swishing beneath her boots. The Fields were beautiful, as people had told her. She had spent days walking, only stopping for a very brief rest. Laurina sighed, wondering where the inn could be.
She had heard a lot about the Fields of Fum, and all seemed to prove trues. The sun shone down gently on her, though not as gently as her beloved moon. She was searching for the inn. There, she hoped to find out more about what had happened to her fair city...

A lioness watched the elf carefully, smirking.
No, she won't become my prey. I'll do the man. I'll show her to the Inn, hwever..
The lioness shapeshifted, chaging into something more trustworthy.
~
"Hey, wait up!!"
A woman ran up to Laurina, running faster than a normal person. Her gold armour indicating she was part of the army, and probably one of the best.
"You shouldn't be out here alone. Monsters roam the plains, and we do not want one of the Citizans killed...you are a citizan of Kestal, aren't you??"

"Alright, and, I'm guessing you're heading for the Inn. Come this way, and we'll be there within a few minutes.."
She started to walk, but stopped, waiting for Laurina.
"Also, my Name is Karita. May I ask yours?"

The elf studied her for a long moment. "My name is Laurina."
After a long moment of silnce, she asked, "You told me that I shouldn't travel alone...Why are you?"

An inn from the east sat across from them. The Innkeeper came out, dragging his tail on the ground. He stared a good long moment with his glowing red eyes. His smile revealed fangs as he grinned. He turned around and went back inside the inn. "I might have visitors here..." He said with a chuckle.

"I travel alone because I have weapons that can easily kill if you know how to use them.."
Karita felt being watched, and suddenly turned to the Inn. She thought a moment, seeing who was there before he went back in. She muttered a word, but became 'happy' again as she watched Laurina.
"Beautiful name. Laurina, we must go now. Orcs may be around."

The elf nodded. "Very well. But, for the record, I, too, have weapons..."

Karita nodded, starting to the Inn.
"Hurry, we won't have much time. Orcs may be fat, but they travel quickly."
((Sorry, WB))

Laurina ran swiftly and gracefully. Even though the grass was tall, it didn't slow her. As she reached the inn, Laurina was barely out of breath.

Karita had reached the Inn only a few secounds before Laurina, and she opened the door, holding it open so Laurina could go in first. She looked inside, scowling at the Inn owner.

"Thanks." Lauri entered the inn, looking around. Her lips twitched into a smile. Just what she had expected...Filled with raiders and thieves...Perhaps one of them would have information.

The innkeeper stared at the newcomers and several turned to look at them with sinister eyes. Seveal were drunk and called them out, "Hey you two beautifuls! Come sit here and we can show you some pleasurments!" They started cracking up.
The innkeeper called out to them, "Hello new guests! What brings you two adventurers out in the middle of nowhere?" He said, staring at them with red eyes and a sinister grin upon his face. His cloak hid everything else though.

Karita followed her in, but, she turned to the Bar. She sat down, eavesdropping on conversations.
~
"Ya hear about those two ninnies who took on the vampire king??"
"I heard dey survived."
"But barely. I heard dat the girl turned into one, and-"
"How dey YOU know one of them was a gal?"
"I heard from a differunt guy.."
"Aye."
~
Karita rolled her eyes, playing with a bronze coin. She put it down.
"Wine, red, pelase.."
She said, watching the Innkeeper with untrusting eyes.

"Sure thing miss..." He said with a cackling voice and chuckled. He grabbed a clean glass and sat it down and grabbed a wine bottle and poured in a clear cranberry wine that was fermited seemingly for years, so it would hold great taste.
"We have only the greatest wine here! Many bottles has settled and fermited for over fourty years! Here you go." He said and slid the cup to Karita. he continued smiling.

Karita scowled, knowing this guy wasn't who he appeared to be.
"I overheard that two people tried to take on the Vampire king?? I figure you heard something about it, so, can you tell me everything you know??"
She took a sip of wine, not caring if it was really blood or normal wine.

The Innkeeper smirked. "Yes... Lots of people have heard of it, yet no one knows if it is true. The most common one is that they themselves became a vampire. Another one says that it was the girl who was the one who became a vampire, and forced her partner into becoming one." He shook his head, laughing. "Ya, some rumors... Crazy though. I don't blelive all of them... And I exactly know what actually happened..." He said with a grin, staring at her. Rows of fangs were apparent and he chuckled and looked away. "But I won't tell it, unless someone gives me one thousand gold peices... Heh heh heh..." He chuckled.

Karita glared at him, her eyes narrowing. She took another sip of the wine.
"From what I heard, The vampire king worked here somehwre.."
She smirked, corssing her arms.
"And he's looking for the two that confronted him for more 'servants'."

"Well, if you think it's me, then your wrong." He said as he lifted up and showed his dragon-like tail. He still grinned though. "But your catching on... I'm proud of you about that... Yes, he has a few stops here and there... He's gotten a few more guests here, too bad for them." He crossed his arms, his hands appeared as a wrinkled ugly hands like an undead, never seen light before. "But, with a small fee of 500 gold, I might be able to help you out some..." He said with a grin. he lowered his tail back down to the ground and nodded. "I've seen the vampire for three hundred years, so I know everything about him if you don't trust me." He said.

Karita put a bag onthe table.
"500 gold coins in here, all can be yours IF you tell me about him first. You have my word as the Lead Warrioress to the army."
She said, ready to grab the coins if he reached for them.
"And, If I don't hear what I want, I'll take my business elsewhere."

The man nodded and smirked. "Alright then... He doesn't sleep when the birds caw the morning sun. He sleeps when the bird lands on the trees near the cathedral. If you see the birds, then he's asleep. Always, there will be five guards guarding his coffin, counting the two out front. They are necromancer Vampires, so be wary of their casting spells for bone warriors."
He smirked and continued. "He's comes to visit this place every three weeks and tomarrow will be his next visit, around when the ravens lands on the roof of the inn at night. You may already know, but he hates garlic. Problem is, he becomes more angered and his attacks quicker when garlic is present, yet he will become weaker each second, so his strength dwindles. Holy water will burn his skin, yet it won't kill him, it will only slow him down. Magic won't stop him, since he knows magic himself. He is also a heavy sleeper, so you can be as loud as you want, and he won't wake up. Any more information?" He said, smirking.

Karita put the gold coin bag back on the table. she gave him an extra one.
"Just tell him tomarrow his...'prize' wants to talk to him, and say she is 'sorry'."
She bared his fangs, as if a warning to the Innkeeper to tell him-or else. She got up and left, baring her fangs at those whistling at her because of her looks.

The innkeeper nodded and smiled. "I will, madam... I hope you will do well... Maybe we might actually have peace for a while when he's dead." He said to her as she left and he chuckled as he picked up the bag and opened up to look at the gold. He lifted one up and grinned, admiring it's shine.
