Airen took her necklace back and put it on. She watched the yellow point that Jotie showed her and placed her palms on the battlements. With pleasure. Airen growled and leaned over the edge of the wall. She called her fire cyclone and had it spread out on the ground again. She gave it more fuel to burn brighter and hotter. Just like a natural wildfire, Airen's fire spread through the ranks of undead with the same terrifying speed. ~ Of course you would get a warhorse that would understand you! What would be the point of having a warhorse if it ran back to its stable as soon as you fell off! And besides, Lilis still considers herself your bodyguard, your wife's bodyguard, and anyone of your family who is near. So she's still doing her job by having me fight with you. Draven said and bit an undead soldier in front him before shaking him to pieces. ~ (Yes, I can see that Jotie. Very good imagery. ) Lilis rode up to the Dwarven leader, her swords dripping with old blood. "Hon mae'lae. Where do you need some of my people to go?" ~ Kara came up behind Foxtrot on the wall. Some of the guards tried to tell her to leave, but she ignored them. Most guards only stared at her anyway. Who couldn't stare at someone who was red, scaled, and practically breathed with the essence of a snake? ~ There you are little one. ~ Kara said when she found Foxtrot. ~ What do you see? ~

Jotie grinned. "Nice. That's taking care of them nicely. We would actually win this with ease. Just don't tire out Airen." He told her reassuringly.
~
Zuki was astonished. "Wow, she's good." He swung his blade right across the demon and took care of them. He held on each time the warhorse did something to kill an undead. "Too bad there is not much blood from these monsters. They only splatter into peices." He said to Draven.
~
The Dwarven leader looked up at her. He crossed his arms. "You and the other tall ones head off towards the north flank. The undead are approaching from that way towards us."
~
Foxtrot looked up and turned around to face Kara. "Oh. Kara!" He quickly gave her a hug. "I see lots of fighting. Fire is somehow spreading across the field like it got a mind of it's own. The undead here are loosing! I mean, look how many we killed! I see lots of elves, dwarves, even some humans fighting them! Then in the sky, there are dragon riders too! It is so neat! I wish I was like a warrior and go help them!" He laughed. "This is awsome! Look through this and you can see many things!"

X watched the sort of fire, and headed out of it's path, still slashing. He stayed around Zuki the best he could, making sure Karita would still have a husband by the end of this war.
"Damn zombies.."
X muttered, kicking and slashing at every zombie in his path.
"Why do there have to be so many?"

Why? Are you hungry? Draven asked Zuki, stepping away from undead horse and rider. If you are and we catch a break, you can have some of mine. My kind and I were bred to do this sort of thing. You won't be hurting me any, Lilis does it too, but only when she needs to.
~ Lilis rode off and three of her demon kin followed her to the northern end of the field. Some of her other friends met her there too. Ten people didn't seem like enough to hold back probably two hundred troops, but most people were always surprised at how well Lilis and her people always did.
~ ~ No thanks Foxtrot. I wouldn't be able to see much with it. ~ Kara said with a bemused smile. ~ You keep watching, you'll learn something. Perhaps new fighting techniques or something. I will just stand here and make sure nothing happens to you. ~
~ I won't get tired, not yet, I promise. Airen told Jotie as the fire on the field reflected in her eyes. It's so beautiful. I've never made anything so big before. She said, mostly to herself but loud enough for Jotie to hear her.

Zuki shook his head. "No. Don't need rest, unless I am ready to feed." He sliced at the undead's head that rode the undead horse. He kicked the jaw of the horse, which fell apart easily.
~
The dwarven calvery followed behind Lilis. One of the commanders called out to her. "Ey! Woman! We aid you and your demon folks in battle!" An army of fifty followed. It wasn't a big number, but it was good enough to slaughter, because most of them carried heavy maces that were bigger than humans.
~
Foxtrot smiled and nodded. He stared out and spied on X. He didn't know who that was, but he was awsome. He watched every move he made, learning new skills. He might try them on his free time. "Okay, jump, then slice down. Parry, then sidestep slash. Wow..."
~
Jotie chuckled. "I'm glad you are liking it." He practiced his archery on the faster Undeads that were after X behind him, picking them off their feet. Once in a while he would miss and curse out loud, but most of the time, concentrated.

Whatever. Just let me know when you need to feed. Draven said as he stepped on one soldier before shaking it to pieces.
~ Lilis twisted a little in her saddle, still fighting a mounted soldier. "Have your people form ranks or pair up to watch the other person's back. We can't afford to lose anyone here. And above all else, DON'T GET SEPARATED FROM YOUR ALLIES! If you get too far into enemy lines, consider yourself on your own!" She shouted above the din and turned back to her opponent. "Damn you! Stay dead!" She snapped, cutting off the soldier's head along with his mount's head.
~ Kara smiled as she listened to Foxtrot talk to himself. He had apparently found someone good to watch. She wished she could see better though. It was hard to watch for arrows when you could see heat directly in front of you and black and white in your peripheral. ~ Keep an eye out for arrows little one. It is hard for me to see them all of the time. ~ She warned him as she continued to scan the battle for danger to Foxtrot.
~ I enjoy drawing, writing, reading, and the company of intelligent people. Airen replied to Jotie stiffly. This is not what I consider fun. I consider it boring and tedious.

Zuki sliced at the undead and looked at the surrounding battlefeild. "Hmm... The only way to get rid of all the undead is to find the leader... Can you spot any leaders that are out here, commanding them?" He asked Davern. "I would like to keep me in one peice, so I could play with my daughter." He told him. ~ "Aye mam!" The dwarven commander called to her. "You're the boss." They followed and grouped together and swung their heavy war mace, shattering the bones of the undead easily. ~ Foxtrot shook his head. "Umm, there isn't many arrows flying this direction. Most of the undead had followed the troupe over there. KARA! Watch out!" He jumped and tackled Kara when an arrow flew towards them. A loud yelp was emitted when the arrow struck Foxtrot's side.
The guard ran over to them. "Crap! I knew it was a bad idea to let you guys out here! Go to safety. Go to the healers down there and get healed. Next time, pay attention when you come up here."
Foxtrot growled and got up. "It's only an arrow. Nothing is going to stop me for watching Zuki or Lilis. Right now, Lilis is too far for me to watch." He couldn't risk turning himself, without injuring his side, so he stayed straight. ~ Jotie nodded. "Whatever you like. I sometimes think you like to play with fire, that's all. It's quite entertaining." He looked foward and noticed Bluu on the land. He gasped when he saw Bluu clawing down an undead, then attacking more. "My god, he's actually in battle."

I'm a horse. I see in black-and-white. Draven replied shortly to Zuki. Ask Lilis, she may be able to see something from her end of the battlefield. I actually know very little about two-leggers beyond what Lilis has always done around me.
~ Dev and a couple of other demons began drawing magic from the bodies of some of the undead. It added to their own power and their lust for the dead and souls. The giant purple demon stayed relatively close to his spawnling and half-sister, even though he knew full well that she could take very good care of herself.
~ Kara glowered at the guard with her smoldering red gaze. She hissed at him angrily. ~ You need to return to your post. There is the chance that a few undead may break our lines and get ladders set up on the wall. I can look after Foxtrot. ~ She hissed at the guard again, making sure to show him her fangs and a couple of drops of venom. She turned to Foxtrot then and knelt to examine his side. ~ You're a silly little kit. Why did you do that? My job is to protect you, not the other way around. ~ Kara said lightly, trying make him feel a little better. ~ Does it hurt too bad? ~
~ Maybe it's the fire. Dragons like to play with that too and there are a lot of his kind here too. Airen said and fitted an arrow to her bow after she was sure her fire wouldn't die. And I do like to play with fire, but I've never done anything so big before. If I play with fire, it is usually small fire, like what I did with Bluu in the garden that day a while back. She explained and started a new line of fire closer to the castle wall.

Zuki nodded and decided this area was cleared enough. "Alright. This area barely has any of those creatures. Go towards where Lilis is at, so I could talk to her. I don't care if she needs help or not, because I want to see the leader that controls these undead."
~ Dwarves were fearless as they swung their oversized mace at the undead, plowing them all to the side. Two decided to fool around with one of the undead, both swinging the mace at one undead, crushing it with a powerful smash. The dwarven commander ran up to Lilis and looked up. He swung and knocked two enemies at one swing. "Girl! How many do you think we can take on without them closing in around us? They are pushing us together!"
~ The guard widened his eyes with fright. He backed away immediately and went to his post, looking for ladders like what she said, but none was seen. Maybe the undead wern't as smart as they thought.
Foxtrot smiled. "Now I know what an arrow feels like inside your body. It hurts like biting your tounge over and over again." He reached for the arrow and was going to pull it out, but it hurt to even touch it. "Ow! It feels like it has a nerve inside the arrow! Can you pull it out? I'll be tough."
~ Jotie watched Bluu, ducking once in a while when an arrow wizzed by. Bluu bit down on one of the undead's head, but spit it back out, knowing it must of tasted nasty. He chuckled and looked foward. He must be heading towards battle.
~ Just then, at both Renor Crysos and Kestal, underground, they were digging their way underneath the kingdom. All of a sudden, they breached a breaking point and went above. Undead were now inside the kingdoms.
Foxtrot widened his eyes. "Kara! The undead is in the kingdom!"
Jotie didn't notice. He continued fighting outside of the battles. Just then, a cry from a warrior warned everyone. They turned around. "My god! They were smart enough to dig into the kingdom! Hurry! All warriors off the roof! Airen, protect the walls by enveloping it with a dome of flame. Do you think you have the energy?"

(Since, as you know, I was in Vegas, shall I start off where I stopped?)
"You're amazing!" said Kitsu, doing what Jotie said. She notched three arrows, one at a time, and giving them time to reappear in the quiver, onto her bow. She raised the bow to be parallel with her face, furrowed her brow, and took aim for three undeads' heads. Finally letting go, she watched the arrows fly. One struck her target; the next hit an enemy warrior's foot; lastly, the third arrow got a take of nothing in particular but the blackened grass. Frowning, she muttered, "I guess I'll stick to one arrow, then," and notched another.

Draven shook his head. Do you want to send some of your soldiers back into the city? Kara says they've breached the keep by digging in under it. I will still take you Lilis if you want thought. The horse said, fidgeting.
~ "Damn! Lethos nam hai!" Lilis snapped angrily as she cut down another pair of undead. "Just keep it together for a long as you can. I'll have to talk to my half-brother to see if he can do something. Otherwise I'll just call on Kaie. And make sure your people don't try any stupid or heroic stunts. They will be heroes if they stay alive, not if they die doing something silly on the field."
~ ~ You hold still. I won't be able to get the arrow out if you're twitching in every which direction. ~ Kara said with some exasperation. ~ The undead won't reach us right away, so don't worry about them just yet. ~
Kara pulled out her dagger and made a quick cut underneath the arrow. She braced one hand against Foxtrot's side and wrapped the other one around the arrow's shaft and pulled it out quickly. She heaved an immense sigh of relief when the head came out with it too. Luckily, Kara did have some of Lilis' medicine and she poured that on top of the wound. It stopped bleeding and then healed completely.
~ All done, do you think you can use a sword or what do you want to do? I am bound to stay with you. ~
~ I can do more than that. Airen said and placed her palms on the wall again. The rock turned white and the only ones to get injured from it heat would be the undead. And to make sure none made it close to the wall, Airen made a ring of fire around the wall that was at least twenty feet tall. She turned towards the inner keep then and made three small fire cyclones, each a different color. Does that work? I know I can do better if you want me too?

Zuki cursed. "Damnit. Forget it. We need to head back to the kingdom with some of our men. I don't think I have enough guards to protect the kingdom. Most of them are in battle." He called out a loud retreat to the kingdom. He then repeated the words, this time in elven, just to make things clear. The surrounding people heard his call and they all headed back towards the Kingdom.
~ The Dwarven commander gritted his teeth as he bashed another after another. "Eya! I think I found an opening. There's only a few on the left side of ya, me lady!"
~ Foxtrot gritted his teeth as the arrow was pulled out. He sighed and smiled. "I think so, ya. But... This is my first time. What if I die? What if they get to me? What do I do?"
~ Jotie was quite impress, but it didn't last long. "Nice, but let's just take care of the undead over here! They are reaching towards the wall after us! We don't want them to spread!"

As it pleases you, but I will contact her. No doubt that she will be... upset, to say the least. Draven replied rather placidly and charged back towards the Kingdom. Would you mind if she sent you reinforcements? I think she'd send them to you, though, even if you said no.
~ Dev came through on the partly open side, destroying the undead as he moved up to Kaie. ~ Hello Spawnling. There are still more coming off of the western slopes and some of the bone dragons are heading back our way. The dragonriders won't help us because they think we are part of the undead army. I have some our are bigger, flying demons on them. And I think that there are more undead on the way here through the mountains. I cannot tell though Spawnling. ~
"Dev, you take over for me. I'm going to take some people back up to the castle. Draven says the keep is breached." Lilis then turned to look at the dwarf beside her. "You take orders from him now. Dev is my half-brother. If I hear about any insubordination from anyone, there will be more than Hell to pay. Am I understood?"
~ Kara lightly slapped Foxtrot's cheeks and made him look her in the eyes. ~ Stop. This is war Foxtrot. You have amazing skill with a sword for only having used one for a few weeks. Admitted, you still have a long way to go to be very good, but I will be with you. You will not die. I will look after you and cover your back. ~ Kara hugged Foxtrot. ~ You will do fine. Do not worry so much little one. ~
~ Not a problem, but what about the soldiers outside? I think the fire will be enough to keep those undead out if you want to bring some of your soldiers back in to fight here. Airen said as she shot an arrow, reloading quickly before shooting again.
A peregrine, covered with grime and just a tad wet, landed on Jotie's shoulder. ~ My, the battle's not much better here either. So the undead got in here too. Lilis wanted me to see how things were going for you, by the way. But now that I'm here, is there any specific form of assistance that I can offer you? ~

Zuki growled, hating reinforcements, but he sighed. "I have no choice. Let her bring reinforcements. We need the help, even if I do hate it."
~ The Dwarven commander nodded. "Understood. Let's just take care of these and kill some more. My men are not tired yet." He pushed an undead back before charging up and re-enterered battle.
~ Foxtrot stared at her. He then nodded and grinned. "Give me a weapon." He said in a very tough voice. He then looked over at the guard, who was just standing there.
"Kid? Your the kid that trained with King Zuki, right?" Foxtrot nodded. He then smirked. "Alright. Have this." He held out the sword towards him. It was a long sword, but short enough to be carried. It was heavy, but lighter than the training swords.
Foxtrot smiled happily. "But then, what will you do?"
"I am... going to stand back and shoot arrows at them, making sure they don't come up behind you or Kara. Just be careful, little guy."
Foxtrot nodded and looked at Kara and grinned. "Let's go!" He then rushed towards the undead group as he rushed down the stairs.
~ Jotie nodded. He charged his magic and said, "Recall!" He through it into the air. It wizzed up towards the sky and it exploded. Guards began to rush into the kingdom. Jotie then looked at Kilian and nodded. "Good to see you again. A bit of a problem. You need to find a sign of where they are coming from. The leader should be there. I'm doing something that I shouldn't do and approach the hole and hack my way through. They are coming in numbers of three, so I need three people with me."

Draven ran over any undead that got in his way as he ran back to the kingdom. He didn't even slow down as the gates were just being drawn open. He ran straight towards the hole where all of the undead were coming from.
She is on her way and she says that she will be here soon. I think she's just trying to find a good fight. Draven told Zuki as he crushed an undead under his hooves.
~ Kara sighed and followed after Foxtrot. ~ You know that rushing headlong into problems is a good way to get your head cut off. ~ She commented and thrust a shield at him. ~ It is good to have one to cover a potentially dangerous opening when fighting. They may not be alive anymore, but some of them do remember the skill they had. ~
~ I’ll come unless you think I’m better off here. Airen told Jotie as she got three undead with one arrow.
~ I will come and there will be no stopping me. It’s part of my job. ~ Kilian said (he was gaping because he was hot). ~ But you should bring an extra person because I may stay in my peregrine form unless a situation gets heavy. ~

X watched everyone fight as he did himself, and he felt the sharp side of a blade hit him. He sucked in the pain, and upon hearing Recall, started towards the gate closely after Zuki.
"Damn Zombies, there's too many!"
He yelled, once inside the gates.
"If only Malco was here - he'd know a spell that'd kill them."
"The only problem is, I can't kill them. The dead can not be killed, for they will just come back to life. You've been battling them the wrong way."
"Oh, look at the philoshoper now."
"Jaca, I'm just trying to help. The point is, we need a new tactic on battling them, or figuring out why they are fighting us and why they aren't at rest..."

Zuki jumped off and spotted someone in the fight that looked familiar. He saw Kara as he was fighting the undead. He sliced the zombie that got in the way. "Who is that? A dwarf?" He pointed out. But then he caught the orange tail and he gasped. "Foxtrot!?"
Foxtrot grabbed hold of the shield and nodded. He stood ready and waited for the undead to come towards him. When they finally got to him, he blocked with the shield and sliced at the zombie. He was used to the blade being hitting the body, but this time, the sword went through the zombie. He had to stop the sword when it finally cut through the other side, making the zombie fall over. Then there were those other zombies with the ripped up armor, so he thought those were going to be tough. He blocked and stabbed at an opening, then pulled out the sword and swung at the head, chopping the head of the zombie off. It walked a little forward, before collapsing once again.
~ Jotie looked back. "Alright. Kilian and Airen, follow me. I'll have Janica follow behind me." He called out for Janica, a spearman, who is really a woman. ~Janica. Come here.~
Janica came, fully armored. Her spear was tipped with blood on it. "You want me, your majesty?"
Jotie nodded and said, "I need you to follow me through the underground passageway that the undead created. We need to fight our way thorugh the tunnel to reach the leader. Come on, we don't have time left!" He then rushed towards the hole, slicing his way through, with the aid of Janica to his side.

"We kinda accidently brought back someone to life..."
"And now Vlad's out to kil lZuki and take Karita, brainwash her, and take her as his wife."
"...How do you know that, Malco?"
"He told me, Jaca. Remember, being stuck to shackles, was going to be eaten alive..."
"...Oh. Right."

The last thing Kara picked up as she followed after Foxtrot was a helmet and she managed to get that on his head before he got too far ahead of her. ~ The last thing we need is an arrow going through that silly skull or your brains getting cut out of your head. ~ She told him and tore off the head of an undead coming at Foxtrot from behind. She was a little surprised to hear Zuki though. ~ Yes that is Foxtrot. Don’t have a conniption because he’s doing fine and I’m here. You need to worry about staying in one piece yourself. ~
Lilis and whatever handful of people she could drag from the battle rode back into the city. She wasn’t about to get off of her horse either. He provided good height and some protection too. But she figured she only get off to cover Zuki.
“Well, it’s lovely to see you again!” She called over the din of the battle to Zuki, since she was pretty close to him. “At least we’re all still in one piece… which is more than I can say for these guys!”
~ Kilian flew into the air to keep an eye out for potential dangers. Airen followed behind Jotie and Janica, guarding the rear. She almost set Jaca and Malco on fire when they grabbed at Jotie. Kilian glided back down to land on Airen’s shoulder.
~ Oh, Lilis has a message for you from your sister, Karita. She said she wants to stay out of the battle. ~ He told them and tried to shake some water and grime out of his feathers.

Foxtrot felt the weight on his head. It was heavy, but it was alright. He cut down at the undead. He was suprised on how many he defeated. They were easy. They smelled foul and he didn't like it, ecspecially when he cut them and some peices flew on his face.
Zuki looked over at Lilis. "Let's just get these zombies from coming in. What's a way to get rid of all of them? Holy magic, I know, but I don't know any of those sorts. Only Jotie does. He can wipe out one hundred undead with one sweep of that magic when he feels like he needs to do it." He cut off a head of undead and kicked on aside.
~ (You mean Kilian, not Lilis in the staring part, right?)
Jotie was about to stab at who grabbed him, but notice they were alive. "Damnination!" He looked at them with anger in his eyes. "I can kill Vlad. I can kill the undead. I can kill whatever I want. Your not going to stop me! I will protect my brother!" He pulled his arm out of his grip and charged into the hole. "Yinsun!" A white blast came through and all the zombies in front of him dissapeared, which actually turned into dust. Jotie then continued his way as quick as he could, followed by Janica.

((Yea, Killian, sorry))
"You don't understand, Jotie."
Malco said, his anger slowly starting to rise. Not a good sign.
"Everytime you kill a zombie, Vlad gets stronger, and the Zombies just come back to life! There's a better Tactic, unless you want to be the most hated guy in all of Kestal! If you want that, your suceeding."
Malco said, staring into jotie's eyes, not caring if Jotie killed him right there. He grabbed Jotie's collar, and shoved him against a wall, to make sure he'd listen.
"Because of you, Jotie, millions of wives are now alone. Men have died, and all you are doing are making the enemies multiply and become stronger. But if you won't listen, we'll just go tell Karita how bad of a King you are and how you wouldn't listen. Then she'd tell your parents, then they'd tell Krystal, who'd spread the news everywhere else. You'd be overthrown, and a better ruler put on the throne. And Kitsu would probably leave you, shunning you away from the world. Do you want that, or will you listen to my plan?"
Malco said, his eyes clearly telling he would do that, even if he would get killed for it.
"And another thing, Jotie, kill me, and my girlfriend will come and hunt you down, and make sure not even a speck of your bone dust is left on this earth. If she doesn't finish you off, then Zuki will, because he loves Karita more than life itself, and if you go on with your own plans, then you'll just make Vlad stronger, make more wives alone in the world with no husband, and make Karita so mad that she'll start thinking that brothers think alike. Then she'll get in a fight with Zuki and leave him for a more 'sane' guy, such as the one you're making stronger. Vlad. Then Zuki'll get pissed at you, and finish you off and let his anger cool off because of Karita leaving him. So, go with our plans, and none of this will happen. Go with your own, and you'll pretty much destory everyone in Kestal, and everything I said will happen. Do I make myself clear, or do you want to see for yourself?"

Kitsu nodded, turning towards the wall. She began notching and firing away more arrows. Each one met their target: the undead's heads or 'hearts.' After what seemed like her hundredth arrow (and probably was), Kitsu notched two arrows. She took aim steadily, then let go. Whipwhip. The first arrow knocked off an enemy warrior's head, as did the second one. Pleased with herself, Kitsu smirked through the moment and from then notched two at a time.

Jaca watched Kitsu, then pulled her bow and arrow away herself, making sure Kitsu couldn't hurt her by twisting on of her arms behind her back.
"Did you not just hear Malco? Or are you deaf like all the others?"
She snapped, twisting Kitsu's head towards the Zombies just killed.
"Watch the even bigger mess you just made."
For a few minutes, to zombie parts just layed there, but almost like a dark magic, they put themselves together, then spilt apart and grew new limbs. For when there were 100 that Kitsu killed, now there were 200 to fight.
"And because of your boyfriend there, killing about a thousand zombies, now there are going to be 2 thousand. Before long, you'll all die, and the Zombies will be ranged in the ten millions..."

Jotie gritted his teeth and really wanted to beat the shit out of him, but then lowered his fist and began to soak in the words. "If that's the truth... We need to take another route. My magic depletes dark magic if you haven't notice, so they can't come back. But even so, I just gotten Vlad stronger." He looked at the hole and sighed. "We need to find Vlad."
~Leader of the Dragon Fliers~ He called out. ~I need you and the air support to stop attacking the undead. We have a new target. Vlad is out there and he is liable to be controlling the undeads. Killing the dead only makes him stronger, so only attack to defend.~
Jotie looked at Malco and nodded. "Alright, the air support should find and attack Vlad. They also can tell me the location of where he is from point A to point B."
~ Elsewhere ~ Vlad began to build strength and power. He felt every undead making him stronger from every kill. He grinned when his plans were working. "Soon... I'll be stronger than Zuki. I'll take over his poor kingdom and Kill him and take his wife. Karita will soon be mine!" He cackled as he threw back his cape. "Go undead! Rise and kill them all! Ahha ha ha ha ha ha!"
