Jotie heard of unsettling rumors that the undead has risen in the forgotten lands. Now, they could smell dead courpses come to life from the ground. They noticed an increase of zombies and skeletons crossing by. And now there isn't any traders coming through. So whatever is happening between Kestal and Renor Crysos is bad.
Zuki too wasn't receiving any trade from merchants. None has came for the past month. They began to dwindle with supply, so Zuki contacted his brother by mind speak.
~Jotie. Something isn't right. I have sent already three messengers out to you. Have you received them?~
~No I haven't.~ Responded Jotie, who is now looking over the window. He peered and saw what looked like Renor Crysos. Then when he looked over the crossroads, he spotted a huge mass standing there. ~But I see something in the field. Is that your army Zuki?~
Zuki shook his head. ~I haven't summoned any army. Why? What do you see?~
~I see... one side of the military heading torwards your castle in a very huge amount of numbers. And something is circling the sky. You could see it. It looks like... Bone dragons!? Zuki! You better raise your defenses!~
Zuki nodded and called forth his army. He told them the situation and told them to guard everything possible. Then he ran up to the Cathedral and rung the bell to warn everyone. Everyone took shelter quickly, while the army began marching down out of Crysos.
It was night time and Jotie quickly ran down the steps. He ordered one of the guards to light the torches and the warning lights. Jotie cursed and ran down the stairs.
Sithe flew close behind Jotie. "Yo, Jotie. Do you want me to fly in and see the enemies?"
"No, it's far too dangerous for you," he quickly responded.
Sithe only nodded. "Alright. Just be careful. If it's the undead, then we need lots of mages. Bone dragons are going to be a pain to take out."
"Yes, I know. They are not as immune as regular dragon to magic, but arrows are useless against them. And we are mostly archerers, not black magic."
"But they do have a weakness. They are weak against light magic and holy magic." concluded Sithe.
"That's true, but they will still absorb the same amount of magic. That's why it's harder to heal a dragon with magic, unless it's dragon magic."
Jotie quickly got down stairs and got to the front of the castle. People were quickly being warned by the warning light. Everyone began to take shelter and the door started to close.

Lilis walked into the throne room, some of the guards scurried to get out of her way. “Zuki, what’s this about an undead army?” She asked and glared at the guard nearest her because he was giggling like a boy who thought he’d just played a good joke. “Get Out Of Here!” She roared at him, making him jump. The guard left in a hurry after that.

Zuki grumbled. "Jotie told me he spotted them just north from here at the crossroads. They are heading this way. I'm trying my best to prepare, but this was unexpected. We have to be careful for poison miasma, because of the damned bone dragons."

Lilis frowned. Constantine came in, towing Kilian in behind him along with a few of Lilis' Crew.
"We won't be able to raise our army in time. You need to send a few crazy people out to try and buy you some time. I can visit my clan and ask Daedra if she can spare anyone to help us... or me if I have to. Yzsable and Ezace might be able to help you out with the dragons if I can't get some of my clan members here. But all of this is up to you." Lilis said, taking an at-ease stance in front of him. Her crew was arranged variously behind her.

Zuki was quite impressed and he nodded. "Very well. My military always follows what I say, so I will command a few to run out into the fields and distract them. I have good men, trust me, even though they act like baffoons." He nodded. "You may carry on." He walked over and ordered several men to run into the fields. Five volenteered, Zuki picked them and a few others to go along and distract them. They nodded and went on.

Lilis told Constantine to send someone to find Ezace and Yzsable. She left him in charge of her crew with Kilian. Once she had set commands for her people, she left to talk to Daedra. She hoped that the demon queen let a few their clan members help. It was entirely uncertain though, but Dev was likely to come with some of his friends in tow.
"Is there anything you'd like us to do?" Hash asked Zuki. "Wait, where is the safest place in the castle and have you moved your wife and daughter there?"

Zuki growled. "That's the problem. We should spread out and find her first, then we can continue on with more important matters." He turned and walked briskly back and fourth. "We need to find her, before something bad happens. She is not ready to fight."

Hash traded a look with Cian. "We'll have people look Zuki. Is there anything else that needs to be done?"
Cian walked up to another member of Lilis' Crew. This one wore a long black cloak that was tattered at it's edges. (Think of Ringwraiths from LOTRs.) Cian talked quietly to him and the dark creature only nodded before walking off into the shadows.

(sorry)
Zuki thought a little. "Yes, if we are able to communicate with the nearby kingdom, we could be able to borrow some of their men and their catapults to destroy the bone dragons and the army." He wondered a little, "What did you just talk about with him?"

“Oh, Cidoran… he’s, well… he’s complicated to explain. Lilis might be able to better than I can. But he’s sort of like an undead mage, he talks best with spirits than he does the living. Cian asked him to look for your wife.” Hash said and then his eyes widened and he swore vehemently. Cidoran was suddenly standing beside him. Hash let out a yelp, leaping backwards and then falling onto his back. “Zuki, meet Cidoran.” He said as he began to collect himself off of the floor.
Cidoran turned in Zuki’s direction. He nodded once and then tilted his head.
“Messssengerssss?” His voice rasped as he asked the question. “ Mine could make it… or assssk Kilian about birdssss.”

Zuki thought a little. "Kilian has birds? Damn... Why didn't I know of that? And your messengers can make it too? I wish you could of gotten sooner." He grumbled and thought. "Well, your here, so I want your messengers go to the nearby dwarf village and ask for their assistance for their catapults and the reason why we wern't able to communicate with them."

Hash chortled. "Kilian is a peregrine shifter, and like most shifters he can communicate easily with animals."
Cidoran didn't say anything else and just drifted back into the nearest shadows. He'd come back when he had something to say. Meanwhile, spirits drifted through the corridors of the palace, looking for Karita. Soon, others would be going to the dwarf settlements.
"Ah, don't mind him too much. He kind of takes some time getting used to. Cidoran is a powerful ally, I wonder how Lilis came across him."
"Carefully." Lilis replied, making Hash jump and yelp. "Daedra gave me most of our clans warriors to help in our battle. You remember my foster-brother, Dev, don't you Zuki?"
Lilis gestured back to the twelve foot tall, purple demon who stood a couple of feet behind her. Some of the other guards shifted about nervously. This was their first time seeing a demon... and so close too.

Zuki nodded. "Yes, but I can't always trust a demon. Not my fault that I had some trouble with one. It jumped out of the shadows when I wasn't expecting when I was only five and slashed across my back, giving me scars. And it looks almost just like Dev too." He glared at Dev for a second, then back at Lilis. "But you might not care for my story. It's stupid and I hate telling my past."

Lilis rolled a shoulder in a shrug and look up at Dev. The demon wasn't paying attention... or at least pretending not too.
"Well, these demons will behave unless they want to see Kaie very angry. I don't mind your story. It is either a bit of poison from the past or maybe a ray of sunshine." She shrugged again. "It doesn't matter which to me because I'm usually making someone's present or future miserable."

Zuki grunted and continued his usual glare as he watched them. "Well, we better see what we are up against. I know it's just a bunch of paled decomposing dead, but some may have magical attribute still. We don't know, but this is just plain stupid, standing here and talking. We should just get to battle." He said.

Lilis grinned rather evilly. "I couldn't agree more." She said in a voice that almost purred with malice. "So, how are we going to do this? Just charge out of the palace gates or do you have a plan in mind?" She asked him and then looked to one of the guards standing around the room. "Are you all so useless that none of you thought to get a map!? Didn't any of you think that your king might want to plan for battle before sending his soldiers into the field!?"

One of the guards freaked when he felt like it was pointed to him. He quickly took off to find a map. A good one.
Out of nowhere, Zuki's parents came along. Zolos with his sword and Ary with a new weapon. It was HUGE! It was like a pole arm weapon, only the4 axe head was a size of a dwarf. There was a spear point on the tip of it and on the back of the other end. "Where are those dead zombies? I'll cut them like butter!" Ary said, flames spewing out of her.
Zuki was suprised, but he growled. "Mother. I'm not sending you or father into battle, no matter what."
Ary gave her a glare that was overwhelming. She rushed up to Zuki and picked him up with one hand. "DO YOU WANT YOUR MOTHER TO PUNISH YOU IF YOU DON'T SEND ME OUT!?"
"N-no mother." He was quickly frightened, which was rare for Zuki. He didn't mean to anger her in any ways.
"THEN... Let me and my husband in the lead."
"B-but mother..."
"DO IT!!"
"A... Yes mother." He was then sat down with a word that sounded very cheerful, 'Good boy!' and a pat on the shoulder. Zuki sighed with releif and felt embarrased. He never wanted to feel the wrath of a Tamaro blood.

Lilis raised her eyebrows and was a tad upset. Dev was laughing... what a terrible sound. Lilis growled something and jabbed him lightly with her sword. He glowered at her but remained silent afterwards.
"I really do not think that is a good idea." She said, facing Zolos and Ary. "I'm sure that Zuki would agree you are not expendible, as that is how soldiers are often described. And I doubt he'd want to lose you after just finding you again. Why don't you at least wait until we find out how many mages there are and how they'll respond to an attack? That way you'll still be alive and you'll still be able to fight." She then muttered under her breath. "And I will have at least done part of my job in protecting this family."

Ary glared at her. "Grr! You don't say a thing about me, miss!" She raised the point right into her face and threatened her. "I know your weakness. You don't think I brought this silver weapon for a reason, don't you? It's for protecting Zuki."
Zuki had enough. "Mother! She is right. Just lower your weapon and go watch the battle, until it's right to attack."
Ary stared at her son for a moment, then lowered her weapon. "Fine..."
Zolos sighed and wispered to Zuki. "She just doesn't want you to be dead. Then who will protect the Queen of Renor Crysos? Everyone will be after her for the throne and her as well."
Zuki looked down and thought about it. "Just get me a map." He said flatly. "I won't be in battle as well. I have everything planned out."
Finally, the guard came with the map. Zuki took control of it and laid it flat on the ground. He took out a fountain pin and started tracing lines. "There are two squads of the enemies. If we could, we need to lead the first squad towards west near the mountains, where the dwarves will come by through to our kingdom and aid us. When that happens, we send in mages to protect the dwarves from the bone dragons. Then our third squad shall come in as reinforcements. That's when my parents and I will go. Lilis, you control the first squad. That's when you have your demons pushing them back over to the mountains over there."

"I could care less if that was silver and dipped in holy water!" Lilis snapped back at Ary. Her eyes blazing purple. Dev set a hand on her shoulder and swiftly drew her away. "Lethos Kiyer! Let go Dev!"
Dev let go and then they listened to Zuki plan the battle. Lilis nodded and looked up at Dev. The demon shrugged.
"Are you going to be riding into battle, Zuki, or just going in on foot?" Lilis asked him curiously. "And moving that squad should be pretty easy. Hartet qline tur Dev." The demon grinned viciously and nodded.

"The third squad on horse back and yes, I will be riding. They are the elite groups I control and the others you control will be yours to do on it's own will. They may not be as elite, but unless the demons come, they are supposed to follow your orders. Now, let's get ready." He told them and stood up quickly. The guards all lined up and spears and lances are up at front and all the calvary(SP) are there, waiting in lines. Several archerers followed by the calvary and the lancers.

Lilis shrugged lazily. "Dev and I brought most of our clans warriors with us. Which means you have 267 demons you might want to work out a little. I'll be taking some, for sure, Dev would torture me for a while if I didn't. I also plan on taking a few of my friends with me." She pivoted on her heel suddenly and Cidoran came up to her. "And where in the blazes of the Nether Realms is Karita! You said you were looking for her! Or at least had people doing that! WHY HAVEN'T YOU FOUND HER YET!!!"
Cidoran hissed, wincing. "Hard, palace big-"
"BIG!!! Damn Cidoran! You've got f*cking spirits at your beck and call! Find her NOW!!!" Cidoran hastily retreated back into the shadows and joined in the search for Karita. Lilis turned back to Zuki and his parents, her eyes blazing with purple fire (which she almost glowed with). "I want you to take my horse, Draven. Eket trained him and he's one of the best damned warhorses you'll ever find." She told Zuki. "I think you'll need him too, he could save your life. Dev, sohar ten'ic. Werri greud baell."
Dev teleported out of the throne room. Lilis would follow him eventually.

Zuki nodded and looked at her. "Well, I want one thing. Mother, apologise to her."
"What? So sh-"
Zuki glared. His mother finally gave in and looked at her. "I guess I'm sorry for threatening you." She didn't like it, but she knew they might become enemies later on.
Zuki nodded and headed out. "Let's go. Time is wasting and we need all of it. Now, Lilis. I trust your strength prove useful. You may go out now." He dissapeared, leaving his parents behind.

Lilis sighed and looked slightly happy. (Was that a good thing... or bad?) "Oh yeah! I get to go and smash heads! I get to be violent!" She snickered evilly and looked over at Ary. "Generally, I don't take apologies... but I think I will this time. I don't want my king ot be upset with me and maybe you and I could spar sometime. So I can see how good you are with that pig-sticker... and maybe you'll let me play with it for a minute. I love finding new toys... er, I mean weapons." She said and turned to walk out of the throne room. Strangely enough, she began to whistle.
Constantine stared at her when she finally made it to the stables. Some of her other friends stared at her too. Draven laughed and bumped her with his head. She talked softly to him and then moved to get Harket, the other warhorse that she sometimes rode.
"Okay, let's go draw away half and army people... then we can have fun!" She said as she vaulted into the saddle, nudging Harket into a trot.
