A young kid, about the age of 12, had managed to slink into the castle, and into the kitchen. His tastebuds were yelling at him, and he couldn't help to drool as his eyes focused on a gigantic cake. He swallowed, then slunk to it, before he managed to grab it from the pan on the bottom, and took off running. A cook had noticed, then yelled at him to stop, but, to no avail. The kid continued running, before a guard had caught him. The cake flung to the floor, and both stared.
"You idiot of a kid!"
The guard yelled, and all the kid could do was stare.
"My lunch!"
He cried, being dragged off by the guard to the throne room as the maids cleaned the mess up. The guard pushed him inside the throne room onto his stomach, and the kid's red coat became musty.
"Your highness, a thief."
"I was hungry!"
"He snuck into the Kitchen and attempted to run off with the cake the cook was planning to serve to you tonight."
"But I was hungry!"
"Silence, thief!"
"But-"
"SHUT UP!"
The kid whimpered, but stayed quiet, as well, sulky. He sat up, crossing his legs and arms, his short, spikey blond hair still up straight. His red coat was many sizes too big, and his boot chains were loose on his legs. He snorted and muttered to himself, not in a good mood, and, hungry.

Jotie blinked. "A theif eh? Well, this is the first that someone ever stole from the castle!" He then laughed. Jotie was an easygoing guy, considering he is a theif himself secretly. He then got up and walked up to the kid and patted him. "So, hungry eh? And my food too? Well, doesn't matter. I was about to go out anyways." He then wispered to the kid's ear. "Don't worry. This food tastes like poison, ever since my sister stopped cooking here." He then grinned and then turned around. "Well, theiving is a big crime, but me, being a nice guy and all, I'll punish you. You have to stay with me for a couple of days, till you work your payment." He smiled. "And maybe you can earn a couple of coins to buy your own food. Who knows? You might enjoy work and decide to have it as a job."

The kid's face turned into an unhappy scowl, but, he sighed.
"Fine, fine, I'll work with you..."
He muttered, standing up, hiding his happiness on being able to eat something good. The guard looked at Jotie with question, then, to the kid.
"Well, where are your manners? Tell the king your name!"
The kid glared daggers at the guard a moment, then shrugged once more.
"Name's Torak."
He replied, hiding the hatred for the guard, saying his name as if it wasn't anything huge.

Jotie blinked. "Torak? It sounds so like... familiar... Hmm." He then looked at the young Torak. "Well, all I know is that Torak is an intellegent character with a metal arm and other metal parts. Also, he invented a weapon here called a gun. It's pretty neat." He then patted him on the back. "So, Torak? You hungry? Let's run down to the Restraunt and get us something to eat." he said with a smile. He then headed off.

Torak quickly followed, running to catch up. His run was clumsy, however, swift, and he easily kept up.
"So, there's another Torak? Hmm, never heard of him."
He shrugged.
"But a metal arm? Cool."

Jotie nodded. "Yep, pretty much. I couldn't belive metal could be made out of body parts, until I saw him. He's pretty intellegent too, considering he built alot of crazy metal things." He looked at Torak. "He kinda looks like you now to mention it."

Torak shrugged.
"Oh well. I doubt we're related. I mean, come on. What kind of kid gets stuck training with, like, the legendary Gonzu as their teacher? My friend Malco is, also, but he's probably suffering without me."
He shrugged again, staying behind Jotie, the same expression of thought on his face as the older Torak did.

Jotie began to think. "There is a Malco here. He ain't suffering. He's living with a good wife. She's a merchant around here and she picks up alot of news around here. She's the one to look for information, along with exotic objects she sells from her lands." He then turned and entered into a building, marked as a restraunt. Jotie then took a seat and motioned for him to sit next to him by the window.

Torak sat down, looking around. His eyes seemed to glimmer like the older Torak's did when he saw something interesting.
"Wow... this place must cost a lot for food!"
His eyes then narrowed in thought.
"Is it better than what the castle food is? IF so, why don't you just hire the cooks from here to work at the castle. That seems to be the most obvious thing to do... and that Malco guy here... man. I'm starting to think this place is... well... the future for me..."
~
The older Torak sat at another table, sipping down a mug of coffee, listening in to the news. His ears perked up, however, when he heard a kid with Jotie that seemed just like him.

Jotie chuckled. "Heh, well it's no big." Then he began to think. "Now to think of it... Why don't I hire these cooks?" He then laughed. "Alright, I haven't thought about that clearly." He watched Torak a little, noting every detail he does is exactly the same like the origonal Torak. He smiled, then noticed the waitress coming up.
"Ah, hello King Jotie! I see you grew tired of the food up there in your kingdom." She giggled a sweet tune. Noting that she is an elven singer, most likely a bard in disguise. But that didn't matter. "Oh, and a sweet little boy with you too." She said with a smile. "What do you two want?"
Jotie thought a little. "How about some sweet and sour Kimbats."
"Alright, and anything to drink?"
"Some apple juice would be nice."
She sketched it down on her notepad as she looked at Torak. "And how about you, young man?"

The young Torak thought a moment.
"Some... water would be good, I guess."
He replied, thinking again. He hadn't noticed his older self, but, he was instead examining everything; wondering what had happened while he had been studying.

"Oh, you don't want anything to eat?" she asked, a little skeptical.
Jotie nudged him. "Order a sandwich or something. I don't want you to be starving. Anyways, it's on me, so you are fine," he told him with a smile. He wasn't paying attention either. He was too busy talking to the young Torak.

"Yea, yea."
Torak was too stuck in his own thoughts, and flicked a vial up from his pocket, looking at it along with a napkin. He tapped his foot, thinking.
~
The older Torak watched himself, staring, before he managed to fall out of his chair from leaning in too much. He groaned, rubbing his head.

Jotie turned and looked and saw Torak. He laughed and stood up, walking over to Torak. "Hey, there! Did you know, that kid over there is Torak also? It's weird, considering you guys look the same and sound almost the same. And as I'm trying to figure out, I'm starting to think he's smart as you, though, doesn't look like it. Come over, I'll introduce you to him." Jotie said with a smile.

The older Torak looked at Jotie, then noticed the younger him with a small set of blueprints on a napkin, before stashing it in his coat.
"Uh, Jotie, for some weird reason... I think that IS me..."

Jotie looked back at the little Torak, then back at him. "Hmm... This is akward... How can you be here, and here in a early stage? It's like one of the demensions made you come through here or something..." He began to wonder how this could of happened.

"Jotie, I have no clue."
The older Torak replied, thinking.
"But if he's here, then... eventually history will have to catch up with him, and mine will change... unless we get him back home."

Jotie began to think. "Well, we wouldn't want that." Jotie began to wonder. "Well, I'll just eat and then send him back to his home, wherever he lives."

Torak quickly calculated in his head.
"That would be with Master Gonzu..."
The younger him was waiting for food. His older self shrugged.
"If I'm correct, I was studying potion making..."

Jotie looked at the younger Torak and then sighed. "Alright, I'll go back and talk to him. You just sit here." He walked over to the younger Torak and sat next to him. "Hey, so where do you live? Arn't you supposed to like, study something? Anyways, why are you here?" He then asked.
