Ryhe tried a bit of a chuckle, "I'm not mad... I was just reminiscing. There is nothing to apologise for." He put his hand into his bag and rummaged, "Mind if I smoke?"

Sol's ears twitched. ~ I don't mind at all. I've never seen someone smoke before. We don't get to spend much time around people to experience anything really. We don't get to stay anywhere long enough to try. ~

Ryhe grunted a bit and took out a pipe. It was a long one, probably as long as from the bandit's elbow to his fingers. It looked a bit worn and Norse-like runs were engraved into it. He took a small box from the bag as well and he stuffed the bowl with some white leaves that he took from the box. Then he used a twig, setting it on fire by putting it in the camp fire for a minute, to set the leaves. A violet smoke blew from the bowl of the pipe and Ryhe breathed in, then release golden smoke through his nose.

Sol continued to watch him with intense curiousity. ~ What makes it turn colors like that? Is it a chemical reaction with the fire? ~ He asked Ryhe and then shifted into his dragon form. ~ I'm sorry if this is uncomfortable. You don't seem to like dragons. ~

He laughed a bit, "They gave me these." He pointed to his eye that was burned before he met them. He looked at the pipe, "I'm not really much of an alchemist... but I think that's what changes them. I dunno really why, but it's a good flavor and it's scentless." He took in a deep breath of the smoke and let it out with his lips. The smoke formed into a small bird and it flew into the sky.

Ryhe chuckled, some smoke puffs leaving his throat, "He's welcome to try. And... donna apologize for the incident. It was my own falter and I have accepted the consequences. Besides," He grinned to Sol,",women go for the war hero look."

"Agreed, but I'm still not lettin' you heal me till yer better rested and fed." Ryhe smiled. He leaned back a bit more and took more of the smoke into his lungs and he let it stay in there. After a minute, he let it go and looked at Sol's head, "Y'know... this is the first time I've been this comfortable with a dragon for nearly four-hundred years."

Sol looked at Ryhe and grinned. ~ Wow! That long! I suppose that's good. I'm happy that you like... us. You are our first friend as well. ~
"Yeah, most people are trying to cook us, chop us to pieces, or hang us up like a piece of meat." Somnus said, suddenly materializing by Sol's head. "They just discount or misjudge our abilities."

Ryhe jumped and breathed in a lot of smoke in surprise, then choked on it a bit. He hacked and held his neck, eyes watering. He smiled weakly and croaked, "Materializing...ehheh... nice move. I'm glad to help any way I can." He coughed a bit more.

Sol bumped Ryhe with his wing. ~ Are you alright? ~
Somnus chortled as he sat by his brother's head. "Sorry, it's easier to move through the darkness or the light if it's Sol's time. And sorry about that."

Ryhe nodded and wheezed, " Just fine." He cleared his throat a few times and coughed. He covered his mouth at some pretty rough ones, then looked at his hand. Blood was splattered on his palm. He quickly wiped it off and smiled back to the twins.

He shook his head, "No, lad, really. I'm fine, if I've done that for two-hundred years, a few more can't hurt. Besides, yer suppose to be resting." Ryhe coughed a bit more and put out his pipe, placing it back in his bag.

Ryhe stared back into his eyes, "I tell ya, I'm fine. The smoke just burned me a bit, nothing to worry. I promise. WHEN you are rested, then you can have a look." Ryhe crossed his arms and cocked a brow.

Somnus smirked. "Looks like you've met your match Sol."
"Perhaps I have." He replied with a crooked grin and sat more comfortably beside Ryhe. "It doesn't work if I force someone. I've killed countless people for my brother, but I've only killed one person on accident."
Sol put his hand in the fire and then played with the fire on his hand. "I killed a young boy. He didn't believe that I was trying to help him. He'd just watched me destroy half of his village."

Ryhe stared at Sol, then looked into the fire, "I know the feeling." He looked back, "Well, then, you'll just have to wait, unless you want me dead. I donna think my wife will be too happy about the father of her child dieing so soon." Ryhe smirked.

Ryhe took a deep breath and closed his eyes, smirking as he imagined Zye, " She's a lovely lass, brave, proud, confident, gorgeous. I can hold her anytime and kiss her sweet lips almost as much." He frowned a bit, " But, now that she's with child, she's a bit more agitated. I came out here to get away from her yelling at me."

"That tends to happen during pregnancy. It sometimes lasts a little after she gives birth too." Sol replied with a smile. "She should return to her normal, spry self about three months after - give or take. So you're going to be a dad? Congratulations. I think you'll enjoy it, most people do."

Ryhe smiled proudly, "Thanks. I canna wait. She still has a few months to go, but, I'll go back before her due date." Ryhe hugged his knees to his chest and looked at him, "I wanna little girl. I've always wanted one." He grinned happily.

"Some of the time. I could have done without a certain few surprises. But that's past. Have you and your wife decided on a name for your child, depending on its gender?"
