"I'm blushing again." Somnus teased when Ryhe praised him too. He then stood and bowed. "But I humbly accept them all."
Sol chuckled and Somnus took the mug from Ryhe, stowing it away. The twins settled down beside each other in front of the fire.
"Well, you're lucky that you didn't pass out." Sol muttered. "Low blood sugar causes that. It makes you feel nauseous, light headed, and sometimes see spots that block out your vision. You'll ultimately pass out unless you lie down or eat something."

Ryhe rubbed the back of his head, "I'm fine, I was a bit light headed from laying down for a long time. If I pass out, I'll be sure to tell you." Ryhe laughed.

"Huh! Sure ya will!" Sol said dubiously. "You'll tell me with a thud when you hit the ground."
"Ah Sol -"
"'Ah Sol' nothing." He grumbled and wrapped his arms around his legs and propped his chin on his knees. "But I take care of all of ya. I always do and I suppose I always will."
"And he loves it too!" Somnus teased and hugged his brother.

Ryhe chuckled, "And we'll be here to take care of you." He smiled at the brothers. The elf stretched and yawned, rubbing his neck, "Anything happen while I was out?"

"Time passed, but other than that..." Somnus shrugged, still hanging onto his brother. "I don't know."
"Oh goodie!" Sol said with complete lack of enthusiasm. "I have nursemaids now. Just what I've always wanted."
Somnus laughed and messed up Sol's hair, worse than it had been before.

Ryhe chuckled, "We aim to please, sire." He looked at the condition of the boy and chuckled, "You two are a mess, you should go clean off in the stream." He nodded to the direction of it.

Sol pointed the accusing finger at Somnus. "It was his fault!" He cried in a childish voice playfully.
"Mine! Na-uh!" Somnus cried with mock offense and pointed at Sol. "It was his fault."
The twin sat, pointing at each other stubbornly while trying not to laugh.

The twins smiled gleefully and then burst out laughing.
"You should try getting used to it. Even one kid will blame something bad on an imaginary character." Somnus said. "That's what I did, because I knew it wouldn't work if I blamed it on Sol."
"Ha!" Sol said and pushed his brother away as he got to his feet. "Yeah, and I blamed stuff on you because I knew mom and dad would believe it."
Somnus gaped and then pouted. Sol laughed and hugged his twin.

Ryhe smirked. They reminded him of when he and his brother and his twin nephews. Ryhe scratched his head and stood, "Well, I dunno about you too, but I'm going to go clean off." He picked up his bag and headed to the stream.

"We'll come!" They chorused, grabbed their bags, and followed after Ryhe. The twins shoved each other playfully as they walked behind their older brother. "Are we there yet?" Somnus decided to ask suddenly. Sol grinned broadly, smothering a laugh.

Ryhe laughed a bit and nodded, "It's there." He pointed to the thick stream. Ryhe placed his bag by the shore and stripped to his pants, stepping in and sighing.

"Wahoo!" Somnus cried and accidentally hit Sol in the face with his bag. Sol growled. Somnus laughed, dropped his bag, and then ran ahead of Ryhe. Sol dropped his bag as well and followed after his twin.

Ryhe laughed lightly and relaxed in the waer. It's current beat against him and it felt good against his sore mucsles. He dunked his head under and got his red hair wet.

Somnus plunged into the water, fully clothed. His brother was right behind him. They surfaced together and Sol pushed Somnus underwater again. The twins dunked each other and then began splashing each other when they'd worn themselves out on the dunking.

Ryhe chuckled, "Now now boys, it's all fun and games till one gets eaten by a river monster." He yawned and relaxed more in the water.

Somnus got one more splash in at his twin, who glared evilly at him, as they both looked to Ryhe.
"What river monster?" Sol asked.
"We en't scared... well, I am. Sol isn't though. Sol's not scared of anything." Somnus said and nudged his brother with his elbow.

"It's a metaphor, lads." Ryhe laughed and set his hands behind his head. The bandit looked at them and chuckled, "If there was one, we'd know by now, won't we?"

The twins shrugged. "Dunno, some creatures like that are kinda tricky."
"Yeah, like you Som!" Sol pushed his brother underwater again and more splashing ensued.

Ryhe sighed, "Just hope predators don't think yer dieing animals." He was only playing the boys as a usual big brother would. He liked the feeling of being an older sibling. He chuckled and leaned his head back.

"That could be fun." Sol finished for his twin. "After all, we aren't dying."

Ryhe laughed and sighed, shaking his head lightly. The elf crossed his legs in the water and his arms behind hid head. He then reached back and picked up his bag, taking out a bottle and pouring some thick soap into his hands. He began washing his hair.

The twins moved to a shallower section of the creek and shifted into tigers. They romped through the water, tumbling with each other in a mock fight. Their growls and snarls could be heard for a great distance around the creek. It sounded like a fierce battle was taking place.

Ryhe cleaned off his hair and he twisted it dry and leaned back again. Ryhe listened to them in case they got int trouble or were attacked by something.

(*rubs hands together while chuckling evilly* Time to cause some trouble.)
The twins were so caught up in their play that they didn't notice a "river monster" slithering up to them. It had a large, angular head, a pair of scrawny arms, and a long, slimy, snake-like body. It hissed and the brothers skittered away from it.
Sol faced it, growling low. It hissed at them and brought it's large, fleshy tail forward. Sol roared and swiped the air. Somnus roared too.
