Ryhe jumped and opened his eyes lazily. His eyes widened and he stood, "Sol! Som!" He slipped a bit and ran at them, feeling himself set on the brink of berzerk. He had no time to get his sword.

The creature his and thrust its head at Sol. He yowled and barely managed to leap out of the way. Somnus roared again and jumped on its head. It let out an eerie and hair-raising shriek of pain. It swung its bleeding head from side to side, trying to throw Somnus from it.

Ryhe growled as he changed to berzerk and he grabbed`it's body, lifting it from the water. He roared and drove his smaller pair of his horns into it's body. He then started squeezing it. He grinned, then bit into it.

Somnus jumped off of the creature's head after Ryhe picked it up. He walked over towards his twin, who decided to enter the fray again. Sol jumped onto the creature's back and began to tear away the skin between its shoulders. The creature hissed, screamed, and writhed worse than a fish out of water. It hissed again and snapped its jaws near Ryhe and then tried to bite him.

The berzerkir roared madly as it's jaws bit into the flesh of his shoulder and pec. His grip on it's body let go, then he wrapped himself around it's jaws, still being bitten by it. He was trying to prevent it from biting his younger brothers.

The creature hissed, shaking its head as it coiled up around Ryhe. Sol still dug at the space between the shoulders. Somnus, feeling a hair playful, latched onto the end of the tail, growling while clawing at it. The creature hissed again, chewing before letting go of Ryhe it. It focused on Somnus since it knew that it couldn't reach Sol.

Ryhe growled and clung to it's face still. He punched it, kicked it, bit it, trying to get it mad at him. He was trying to keep it's focus on him so the others were okay and free to kill it.

The creature hissed angrily and whipped its tail. Somnus found a moment to let go and skittered away. The creature tried to trip up Ryhe. It wanted to deal with Sol, who couldn't find the spinal column.
This thing is built different you dumby! You can still tear its throat out... bleed it to death. He thought yowling with frustration. Sol climbed up the back of the neck and then moved around to the front to try and shred its neck to pieces.

Ryhe began feeling faint because of blood loss. His berzerk held firm and kept him from passing out. The elf snarled in effort and clung to the beasts snout, looking back to the twins to see what they were doing.

The creature snorted and ignored Ryhe. It threw its head up and then shook it. It growled and then rammed its body into the ground. Sol groaned in pain but didn't let go.

Ryhe slipped off and he flew a few feet, did a flip in the air, and he landed on a bank. He growled and sat up, staggering to his feet and swaggering to them. At a point, the blood loss was too much and he fell to his knees. Ryhe had one more trick. He hummed, deep in his throat, most of the notes so deep, they were unheard. Some roots and veins grew from the ground around the beast and began wrapping around it, binding it.

The creature screamed furiously and writhed. Sol cried out too. The creature's blood turned to acid and began to eat through the vines. It began to eat through Sol's fur and skin too. He yowled and rolled through water, trying to get it off. The creature died slowly, eaten alive by its own acid. Somnus watched his win, unsure of how to help him.

Ryhe looked worried, " Somus! Does he have any healing potions? If so, get them! Sol! Keep rolling in the water and both of you, get away from it!" He snarled and held his wound as he stood.

Sol was laying in the water, only his nose poking through. He shivered uncontrolably, but at least the water numbed his injuries. Somnus ran back to get their packs. He grabbed them up and ran back.
When Somnus walked over to his twin, Sol's head came out of the water. He growled at at him and bared his fangs. Somnus stopped, uncertain and worried. He looked over at Ryhe in bewilderment.

Ryhe sneered and walked over to them. He glared at Sol, "C'mon lad, let him heal ya." Ryhe took a step toward him.

Sol turned to Ryhe and snarled, taking a swipe at him. Somnus shrugged and went to sit on the bank. His feet were in the water and rested his elbows on his knees and had his head propped on his fists. He knew how independent Sol was. Neither of them were any good a accepting help, but Somnus was better about accepting healing treatment.

Ryhe gasped as his claws tore the skin of his abs. Ryhe snarled, "Sol, Yer hurt. Do you really want to be incapable to protect you're brother? If you stay like this, you are likely to be so for weeks!"

"Actually, no." Somnus said distantly from the bank. "Sol's just in a lot of pain. It overwhelms him so that he has to wait for the water to numb him. He just doesn't want us to touch him, yet. Plus, by that time, he'll be able to concentrate better on healing himself."
Somnus looked at Ryhe and winced. "You look like a mess too. Why don't you come here? Sol's got quite a store of medicinal things in his bag and you've got something different that you can use."

Ryhe glared at Sol as he walked over to Somus, rolling his shoulder. He felt light headed and he groaned, sitting on the ground, "I'll get up in a minute.... ooh..." He laid back.

Sol growled and pulled his head back underwater. He felt bad about hurting his brother. Somnus looked at Ryhe and raised his eyebrows.
"Huh! It doesn't look like it." He said and looked back towards his twin.

Ryhe sat up and stood, walking to him. He chuckled as he sat by Somus, "See? I made it."

He laughed and Sol stood up from the water. He didn't shake though. He walked slowly over to the bank and looked at Ryhe.
~ Just a metaphor huh? ~ He teased and then shook all of his water on them.
Somnus yelped and laughed. He put his arms up to fend off the shower of water, but really didn't care.

Ryhe chuckled, "I see some one's feel...ugh..." The elf swayed and he looked to Somus, "Could.... eh... o." Ryhe fell back, passing out finally.

Sol performed a minor healing on himself and padded up to Ryhe. He lay down half on top of him. Somnus covered them in two blankets. He received Sol's grateful purring. He chuckled softly and sat beside them again. Sol healed Ryhe's wounds and fell deeply asleep.

Ryhe grunted as he felt his skin fuse together. He groaned and opened his eyes slowly. Ryhe sat up and looked at Sol, then sighed. He looked to Somus, "Will he be okay?"
